Burat talaga yang Globe na iyan. Hindi ba may ongoing complaint ang ibang telecoms sa kanila because Globelines is charging a flat rate for their NDD? Tatay pa ng kasama ko dito sa UST yung nagrerepresent sa Globe sa mga hearing. Sabi nila wala naman daw masama if they charge flat rates for their NDD calls, blah, blah, blah...
And now Globe is compalining because SUN is charging a flat rate? Ang labo ata.

well ganyan talaga...kung businessman ka eh gusto mong protektahan talaga ang investment mo at all cost... its just a matter of whether it is legal or illegal, morally right or not, fair or unfair.... it is the businessman's choice...
the bottomline is protect your business interest....no matter what...and that what they are doing right now..... Im sure kung ibababa nila nang 3.50 flat rate, malamang sun cellular naman ang magsisigaw nang unfair practice.....hehehe

Point is, Globe and SMART cannot dictate to Sun Cellular how to price their rates within their (Sun's) network. In the first place, SUN would not be able to offer their 24/7 rates without prior NTC approval. If the NTC revokes their approval of SUN's rates, they will get the ire of the consumers. It's like government intervention on what should purely be an interplay of market conditions.
I think SMART and GLOBE are really more scared of having their market share dwindle once SUN is able to expand its network coverage to rival theirs. There will be a migration of subscribers to SUN because of the cheaper rates. Sana nga lang, wag mag turn-around ang SUN once they have their 10 Million subscribers, like what SMART and GLOBE did when they started charging customers for SMS.

ang sakin lang ito masasabi ko sa Globe and Smart etc...
Give the consumers the right to choose...
as long as hindi bawal sa batas ginagawa ng SUN...
mag-innovate na lang sila ng new marketing strategy to retain their current subscriber.

yeah they should find ways to tempt the consumers back, not by feeling threatened and filing petitions to stop their rival imo. takot lng tsktsk

February 8th, 2005 02:38 PM #30Both this giants are shouting "FOUL!" kung baga nakadyot lang ng konti eh. Ano ba naman un nakuhang share ng sun kumpara sa market share nila... its pure monkey business bullying the new kid in school.
So what's stopping them to come up with something better wala namang pumipigil (I still like my Globe). Either way.. panalo pa rin consumer which in the first place (and to remind them) is the reason why they are where they are ryt now.
Choice I would have made as well.
