medical sciences are not weird. Science has never been viewed as weird. Maybe scientology is weird or creation science...I'm not sure what's the basis of your statement. A quack doctor is also weird.Originally Posted by 4wrider
science cannot explain a talking donkey, stick turning into serpent, man walking on water, burning bush, lazarus coming from the dead, man surviving 3 days in a whale's belly.
Now, the great flood, the 7 plagues, etc have scientific explanations as these are not considered unnatural.. natural meaning occuring in nature. Obviously the first examples stated are unnatural so science cannot explain that.
when people get to heaven...assuming it's a real place...people won't be asking questions anymore.
god's ways and thoughts are higher than ours because he's up there..and we're down here...joke...comedy flavor lang...no offense meant.
the man who thought and said we can fly and land on the moon was called a loony.

Diba di pwede magworship ng anybody other than God diba... especially inanimate objects...
Why do people cradle/kiss rosaries, friggin statues made in Tayuman of Sto. Nino, Mary etc???
Kinda contradicting isn't it?
Why do you have to pray to Mary or any other saint, can't you go straight to God himself or may kailangan pang daanan like government offices?
Labo.

Praying to Mary and other saint is another work of the Catholic Church. Only Jesus can intercede for us.

What's more amazing is how many of these idolatry figures are INSIDE places of worship hehe.

No wonder the Vatican is on the first stage in denying the Bible. This Bent Crucifix is "... a sinister symbol, used by Satanists in the sixth century, that had been revived at the time of Vatican Two. This was a bent or broken cross, on which was displayed a repulsive and distorted figure of Jesus, which the black magicians and sorcerers of the Middle Ages had made use of to represent the Biblical term 'Mark of the Beast'.![]()

Ah... but who institutionalized and preached the "Holy Trinity"? Jesus himself, or his followers? Jesus made no claims to being God, merely to being "a son"... hmmm... Like I said, Jesus was not one for "divine mysteries" and intricate secular law, he was more of a "God for the People", "Let the Children Lead the Way" kind of person. It is in all Christians' best interests to learn where and who certain institutions and beliefs of the Bible came from.Originally Posted by oldblue

Anybody can take anything and claim it is anti-Christian. Don't start with that...Originally Posted by CoDer
...remember the Salem Witch Trials? The Inquisition? It's wild claims and ideas regarding what defines "Satanists" and "Heretics" that allowed church leaders to execute their opponents both within and outside the Church in the Middle Ages.
Besides, while distorted, who's to say that the image of Christ here is repulsive? It's an iconic representation of Christ, inspired and following in a more modern school of design, nothing more. The Crucifix has always been iconic in nature, and a lot of Churches, both Catholic and non-Catholic, display iconic or abstract images of Christ.
Now, is that any worse than the traditional, gory, blood and guts version of Christ on the Cross? Meaning to say, if your Crucifix isn't anatomically correct down to torn skin and cartilage at the knees, and broken ribs poking through the chest and doesn't drop blood on the floor, it's Satanic?
That's a slippery road that you really shouldn't go down, my friend.
