The structure they built was too flimsy to contain the pressure build-up. If it was stronger, the internal pressure would have reached higher levels before blowing out the weaker panels, like windows and doors.

It would be LPG unless otherwise specified.... that is the typical cooking gas we use.

Was the NG leak detector in the destroyed condo unit working? It was mentioned it was recently renovated.

Typical sa contractors na kapag may nirerenovate or repair at expected na maalikabok ang site ay tinatakpan ang mga sensors.

CNG is composed mainly by Methane (CH4) about 90%; 3%++ Ethane; <2% Propane. It is confirmed that Gas in Serendra came from Bonifacio gas which is technically LPG typically majority Butane and propane ..

It is internationally mandated that all LPG or CNG gases should have Ethyl Mercaptans on it...It says there Bonifacio gas gets or subsribed to Shell standards/expertise so dapat it should have Odorising agent (Ethyl mercaptans) on it.

Do they have gas detection sensors for each condo unit? If they do then dapat hindi lang initial installation yun, it should undergo routine functional testing and calibration. These type of detectors is not your typical smoke sensors, it should always be checked and calibrated.

Even if the sensors are covered, some dust could have entered the sensors.

They're all related, but as CNG is primarily Methane, which, from the diagram, is obviously lighter, it requires greater storage pressures to achieve proper energy density in storage, unlike Butane/Propane, which can be stored in quantity in lower-pressure vessels.

That's why CNG in vehicles is not as popular as LPG, and it's mostly buses that use it, because they can take the extra weight of the high pressure tanks.
