You can check Tactical Asia - Philippines Online Shopping | Tactical Outdoor they have cold steel, gerber, and kabar. Mura and legit items.
guys if you're at home now, Forged in fire showing on History Channel, featuring Ryu Lim
Adding in my collection a Benchmade mini-griptilian Pardue design modified sheepfoot in 154cm steel. Soon, a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 in s30v steel and another Benchmade mini-griptilian Cabela's exclusive in D2 steel.
Agree on the Tenacious. Great all arounder and very easy to sharpen.
para2 compression lock is great
tenacious is too broad for my needs
for cheap folders i prefer Kershaws w/ speedsafe
personally i carry Cold Steel Kobun coz it's just so badass LOL
In the border between Surigao del Sur and Surigao del Norte there are "sundangay" or little bolo or little machete. It is mainly used by the locals for protection or as an accessory. These are crafted out of tempered cold steel

coz i don't trust folders especially liner locks. that's why i appreciate the Compression Lock coz it's hard to accidentally release
a liner might release w/ torsional forces coz it's right there under your index finger
but i don't EDC the Kobun. i always carry a modified SAK. i only carry kobun for "special" occasions![]()
i've watched this forgers (blade-making! not money)) contest program in cable tv.. interesting.. i didn't know there were many aspects in making good blades..
i know the name kinda implies it, but are kershaw speedsafe knives ok? i'm concerned that the blade might accidentally deploy while in your pocket, i.e. something getting caught on the top thumbstud.
the folder I've been drooling over since last year is the CRKT Fossil in compact. Man, such a beautiful knife! But at the end of the day, I do my cutting with my trusty and battered Mora![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
I have this, it's proudly made in Taiwan. Keeps its edge good. Used it a lot when patrolling the jungle aside from an m4, m9, collapsible baton to name a couple of pounds of equipment on my body
