anyway, in that case, may kasunduan ang union with management na bawal mag perform ng trabaho ng teller ang taga new accounts kahit mahaba ang pila

may mga tao talaga na mas gusto mag stick sa usual na ginagawa nila like deposit via counter (baka naka passbook).
anyway sana makarating sa mga branch manager ang issue....
Ibang-iba naman yung respective experiences ko with BPI and BDO. Walang masyadong pila sa BPI when I pay my credit card bills (ewan ko lang ngayon since online na yung credit card payments ko), and I'm not even a preferred client.
In contrast, sobrang BAGAL ng mga tellers ng BDO, in my experiences with two of their branches (ABS-CBN ELJ and SM Novaliches). Kahit marami na yung nagse-service na tellers, for some reason NAPAKAKUPAD nilang kumilos. Sometimes I dread paydays kasi BDO check ang nakukuha ko, which means I have to queue for 45 minutes to an hour just to have it encashed; kahit may dedicated lane na sila for us employees, ang bagal pa rin. Another thing that sucks about BDO is that kahit na manager's check yung ide-deposit mo at BDO branch din naman ang destination, three days pa rin ang check clearing. That's why I have to encash my paycheck first THEN deposit the money para lang mag-reflect ng real time yung amount sa savings account namin. WTF?!
Sometimes I'd fiddle with my cellphone while waiting in line sa BDO. Sitahin lang ako ng guwardiya about keeping my phone turned off inside the bank premises, sasagutin ko talaga siya ng, "Eh kung ayaw niyong maglibang ako sa cellphone sa inip, sabihan niyo mga tellers niyo na BILISAN nila!"
dito rin sa may mckinley hill ang haba lagi ng pila. pero ang pinakanakakainis eh yung ATM nila laging sira. don tuloy ako sa psbank lagi nag wiwithdraw, sayang din yung 10 petot. hehehe
they can't swap simply because of their differing job descriptions, thus, different accountability/responsibility. before they are allowed to sit and face their clients they were given distinct orientations in conformity with the kind of services they need to deliver.

kahit naman din my other bank (Chinabank) also matagal din ang service.. kaya pag nagmamadali ako.. iiwan ko na lang sa teller yung ide-deposit ko.. bahala na sila mag pasok at nag mamadali ako.
Well, not with BPI. Although in some instances, the manager takes and processes the deposits of preferred clients so the latter won't waste time waiting. Never saw the manager asking the new accounts employee to take deposits in. even when you open an account, the new accounts personnel goes to the teller for the latter to process it.
Mukhang weather-weather lang.... In my limited experience with banking (bihira akong pumunta ng bangko, dahil halos lahat, online na) a few years ago,- maganda ang service ng BDO at pangit ang BPI. Pero ngayon, IMO, gumanda ang service ng BPI, ang BDO pumangit...

Yan ang bangko, kapag pinakiusapan ka mag opn ng account, kulang na lang lumuhod sa harapan mo ang manager at ang marketing nila.
Kapag client ka na at magwithdraw or deposit ka, sarap ng pagmumurahin dahil di ka na kilala.
Lahat ng banko ganyan BASTA maliit lang ang pera mo sa kanila. Try mong maglagay ng dalawang milyon sa kanila and play around that amount (or more) lagi....pusta ko bibigyan ka pa ng kape habang nagtatransact.
pag over 300T ang deposit sa BPI pwede ka nang di pumila.. don ka sa GOLD member lane..
Yesterday at my BDO branch, I was waiting for nearly 10 minutes before I was entertained by one of the staff. I wasn't really angry or anything because I could plainly see everyone of the staff (tellers & services) was busy with their clients and doing their best to quickly finish and move on to the next client.
