So tell us how do we deposit a cheque via online or ATM? Because ATMs do not accept cheque deposits. Or are you just too brainwashed by your BPI officer friend's story telling?
Ask anyone. If BPI's service is that bad, will it encourage your clients to deposit more money into your bank? Of course NOT! Honestly, I had a lot more money in my account couple years ago but the LACK of service simply discouraged me from maintaining that balance in BPI. Instead, I moved most of balance to another bank nearby which gave much better service to ALL of their customers. The only reasons I still have BPI accounts is having accounts in multiple banks gives me some banking flexibility as well as access to online banking services.
By the way, if your BPI officer friend told you how much a client has in his/her account(s) then that is WORST because that is BREACH of client's bank details. The more I would not want my money and my bank business done there.

Ganun din, still same story, kulang sa tellers! Bakit BDO at MB ginagawan nila paraan pero BPI just doesn't mind.
Again it might be different on a per branch basis but I just hope they do improve their service.

If online is supposed to be convenient, BPI requires users to go to the branch or correspond with the branch to process enrolling accounts for online fund transfers which is the opposite of convenient. I deactivated my BPI online banking because of this, and I'm closing my BPI account as soon as the last few issued checks I issued have cleared.
I also used to have a friend who's an officer at BPI (not at the branch level). He's still an officer at BPI, but is not my friend anymore.![]()
The most customer service oriented bank managers and officers that i know do not make any distinction between high net depositors/borrowers down to the regular depositors.
Hehehe. Baka tapos na clearing, nag-iinput pa rin.
I guess you're just a little rich girl so you "appreciate" the prejudicial style of treatment this bank offers you? For years I have transacted with this BPI branch and the people manning the services/new accounts are so "tamad" in doing anything beyond their immediate job. I remember inquiring about other online services they have and how to enroll to them, nothing.
Banks only product is "service" to their customers. Why should one be different from another? We are all depositors of that bank? All I am asking for is a faster and more efficient system. Is that too much to ask from one of the biggest banks in the country? Or has BPI simply grown too big to care about the needs of simple account holders? BDO has shown in their numerous branches that quick and efficient service for ALL CUSTOMERS without prejudice to the money in your wallet can be achieved.
Some people are just so typical "onion-skinned" pinoys when people are telling the simple truth. Pointless to get angry at the person because it will not solve the issue of the complaint. Fix the problem and that same person will probably give recommendations in place of customer complaints.

Natural.
Sa Philam Tower yung office ko and I usually transact sa branch on the ground floor. Usually napupuno yan from the 14th-16th of the month and if coming from a long holiday. Kaya I usually end up depositing cheques pag malapit na magsara ang branch.
Nakaabot na ata sa BPI ito, a friend of mine just confirmed that BPI bolstered their manpower in some branches because of the long queue and obvious need to add "teller manpower daw".
Pero in my observation parang the previous months mahaba na rin talaga pila.
