Reminds me of that of-used elevator joke you've all probably heard by now.

"Bababa ba?

Bababa"

What did the American say when he heard this exchange?

i first heard it from an italian Priest.

waiting passenter to elevator operator, as door opens, "bababa ba?"
elevator operator to passenger, "bababa."
passenger looks back behind him and says to those behind, "bababa!"
the crowd pushes ahead, into elevator, "baba! baba! baba!"

he was amazed! ...on the versatility of the pilipino language.
