personally i'm not very afraid naman so i don't discriminate

i've interacted with people who i later found out are IGG positive

so that means i interacted with them when they had active covid

Ako kasi, I treat everyone outside of my household as suspect & that includes my brothers, sisters, nieces & other relatives, friends. Nowadays, it’s common knowledge that some people may be carriers & it is natural that we have to be careful. My brothers & sisters including their kids, when they drop by to see my mother, make it a point to wear a mask & keep a safe distance which we do likewise. Two of them, being Doctors, tested positive for Covid but I still allow them in. I think hindi na uso yung discrimination kasi with the prevalence of the disease, there is a shift in attitude towards our relationship with other people.
Stay in househelp & drivers is another matter. They cannot be tested outside & accepted when they test negative because during the interim period between testing & result, malay mo ba kung saan nag punta yun & what risky activity they may have done. The safest thing to do is to quarantine in the house, sched a PCR test then release when ok. Dilema is what if they test positive. Then everyone in the house becomes suspect.

Like what our driver did to me, treat you like you have leprosy. Do you remember the house na the neighbors barricaded it with old yero and wood para di makalabas mga owners?

I also assume that everyone and I am positive, kaya I don't come close sa mga tao sa bahay. I don't hug my family. Birthdays namin dumaan walang hug or kiss Pero I go out of my room naman and don't wear face mask at home (unlike when I thought I was really positive)

I heard those stories too. But you can’t blame them because of all the hype this thing gets. Since this thing blew up, perception of most changed because of a better understanding of the dynamics of infection and more importantly, people had to brave the storm or else their families will go hungry. For me, the most risky is eating in an enclosed restaurant & riding with others (except family) in an a/c vehicle.
