I just did about 4 hours yard work. The late morning temperatures are getting too high for me to continue. I'll resume at sundown or whenever there are shadows at the spot I'm working at.

Right now, it feels good to be in an air conditioned house with a nice glass of ice water.

Gotta respect the people who work the fields all day in this weather.

I feel heavy and bloated and lethargic. I guess being unable to play tennis (or just plain sweat) for msore than a week is taking its sloth like toll on me

I cannot help but feel amused with OB. I wonder how it is to talk to him in person. Must be really interesting. People who are not PC are really refreshing. He just calls a spade, a spade. haha.

The only reason why he's frank is because he hides behind his anonymity. 100% sure OB isn't as interesting IRL as he is on the internet.

    Tama ba minicarph?

    Corollary to this bro.

People who hide behind the internet (matalino, mayaman at gwapo/a) are not "real people"...

    They have the deepest insecurities...

Character should transcend every aspect of a person's life...

Happy, scared and excited at the same time.

Finally got confirmation that my eye surgery is scheduled this weekend. I'm happy because this 2 months long problem will end finally.

But I'm kind of scared and glad that it's general anesthesia. glad because I don't want to be awake while they are dissecting my eye. scared because general anesthesia is riskier that local anesthesia. I remember that story where they injected the drugs to make the patient paralyzed but forgot to inject the drug to make him sleep and numb. so he was awake and can feel the pain while in surgery, but can't tell them because he was paralyzed.

He's doing fine now. Turns out the pain in his lower left abdomen was a kidney stone which, fortunately for us, passed through with his pee. Analysis of the stone showed that it was due to dairy products.

    Thanks for asking.

    calcium stones?
evidence suggests that, contrary to popular belief, ingesting milk and milk products, may even reduce the risk of developing kidney stones.
but we are glad your kid is fine, now.

confused? you are not alone. even doctors are. the knowledge boom is so great, doctors simply... can not keep up.

Sore. I got a few blisters from doing yard work. I got some mild sunburns as well. A few days healing should do the trick.

5 days absent din ako, kakabalik lang.

High blood sugar level affected a foot allergy kaya ayun, namaga due to infection. Had to rest and take anti-biotics for a week. Iika-ika pa din nga but have to work na. Bawas na talaga high glucose food dapat. hehe
