Awful. Exhausted with life. I'm thinking of quitting my job and staying at home for a while. But I know this will hurt even more my mediocre career.

Ngayon lang yan and lilipas din yan, why don't you take a leave from work?

or ayaw mo na talaga sa work mo? Baka wala ka mahanap gaya ni German boss mo

Cliché might it sound, I appreciate even the most littlest things.

iniisip ko na lang madami gusto pumalit kung ano man ang sitwasyon ko today.

Parang sa traffic, pag buryong na ako titingnan ko na lang yung mga commuters sa daan,

hirap na sumakay matatraffic din sila like me.

Puro leave at late na nga ko. My attendance is awful and my AVP keeps reminding me about it. I love what I do and I love my bosses (my AVP and German boss) but the salary is awful and I don't like my new coworkers anymore. Kaaway ko nga yung bago.

Mommy ko ang kontra na umalis ako. She says I should put up with the low salary because my office location is convenient and my bosses are great to me. But today she told me mag resign na ko kung gusto ko. Sa bahay na lang daw ako (I know that is sarcastic) I don't plan on just staying at home after I resign. I will find another job but I know I won't have much bargaining power anymore.

I think whats dragging you down is your opinion on your new officemates. Its a burden to have to think you dont like them everytime you see them, cause you labeled them as such. Its not easy but ignoring them would be for the best.

And take a vacation Ms Cath, doesnt matter what your attendance track is, but peace of mind is more important di ba hehe. After that, you can try passing your cv around. Worst thing is to impulse decisions while not feeling well

Could be you're just burned out.

Ask your AVP or HR if it's possible to take a sabbatical leave and be honest since it's the reason for your attendance woes anyway. It won't be a paid leave but at least you'll get some perspective on why you're sticking around or not.

There is also some wisdom for those who've advised for you to look for other work options before pulling the trigger on a resignation. Mahirap naman kasi HRs these days do background checking and you wouldn't want to be profiled as someone who has a terrible attendance record when they ask your former employer.

Ako na lang natira sa team. All of my friends left or transferred to another group. Everyone is new. My long time support left last month and the replacement is really a pain. I'm an SME by function but management has not upgraded the title to officer. So I am doing officer roles on a staff title and salary. One of the conditions for my promotion is to develop and manage my support. The problem is this new person is resistant and does not follow my instructions. Sumasagot pa nga. I got really mad when she sent out an email (with AVPs in CC) where I clearly stated her to delete some items. Ipapahamak pa ko! I cannot work these people! Number 1 factor pa naman sa job happiness ko ang relationships in the work place.

I'll talk to my AVP if I can get a sabbatical. I'm not sure if it's for upper management only and the reason has to be approved pa (eg study). But then when I get back, it's same awful salary and co-workers

Don't be in a rush ma'am Cathy. Take a leave and think things out. At the best do some application work to see your position in a new co. And assess whats out there for you. The leave will refresh you as you are burned out and go see other options before you decide.[emoji4] best of luck!
