you have a good point regarding no broken promises to your child.
in my case i stopped spanking my children when they reached the age of 7. puro pag mamahal at diplomacy na ang ginamit ko sa kanila. at the age of seven ay pwede ng mag rebelde ang anak mo kapag sinaktan mo at siguradong hindi na talaga nila makakalimutan ang mga palong aabutin nila.
