Flamed Granite (pronounced /ˈɡranət/ & NOT the commonly said 'gra-night' or worse...'gray-night'[emoji4]) is a good, lasting, hard natural stone. It's the rough version of the polished slippery ones on countertops.
A bit of trivia...this is the same material that replaced the 'real cobblestones' as primary paving stones in 19th century Europe, aka Belgian Block....You still see them today. That's how tough granite is.[emoji106]

^^ yup there are tiles that also look like those (textured finish). Natural stones are more expensive than tiles & installation of natural stones are more expensive plus maintenance (sealant).

You can leave the flamed natural alone....if you won't mind the soap scum & hard water stains....Again, the streets & curbs of the old world did not need any care....still stood time & traffic's tests....they seem to remain eternally pretty.[emoji4]

Well, there are materials, outside stone & tile, not just anyone can apply like 3M's Tartan for ovals. Some faux turf or paver blocks for sidewalks. For pools & decks, you have Wood-Plastic-Composites that look & feel like wood w/o the rot worry. For indoors, a line called luxury vinyl is gaining a lotta ground in the US.

but first, you have to be sure that the pebbled surface is cleaner than your soles.
after all, you are not the only one who has the same idea...

    miswa,

Dumadami tao at kotse, nagtatraffic, Lalakas consumo ng tubig, kuryente.

If the government wants macontrol population metro manila eh you stop na high-rise construction.

Where will all those (illegal) mainland Chinese live then? Philippine government needs them here. So it is in the Philippine Government's interest to build build and build more condos. Our beloved president will see to that.

Pero dapat now no more na. Out of necessity na lang dahil sa work.

What do you call these, sir? That's 10 condo projects, mostly high rise, from one developer alone, all in Metro Manila, pre-selling this 2019. How many more from other developers? Chinamen fuelling these new projects, I'll bet. I've also heard of Chinamen developers building their own Condo Buildings, presumably to sell exclusively to fellow Chinamen, in various locations in the Metro. Build Build Build is the motto. Yeah!

This we've long been using 3D panels as wall material alternative.
