Those are nice prep/auxiliary kitchens that are utilitarian. Are these stainless steel? When a client asks why the kitchen is metal, we cite that restaurant kitchens are almost always stainless steel.

Inikutan ko tuloy... At least hindi sa kalye nakaparada...

House design kasi, 2-car garage... Then later magiging 3 o 4 sasakyan.... Tapos masikip ang garahe dahil nga tinipid (at lumaki ang footprint ng sasakyan), kaya isa na lang pinaparada sa garahe... paano na iyon 2 o 3 na sasakyan? E di sa kalye! Naknang talaga! E may dumating pang mga bisita na may sasakyan! Nagka lecheleche na ang kalsada...

Kaya house planning and construction, magplano ng tamang garahe!

I don't mind. Eyesore na nila sa bahay nila, at least hindi naka park sa kalye. When I'm having my car paaraw, I parallel park in that portion in red para hindi sa kalye. Minsan lang naman [emoji14] I learned that from SO when I'm lazy to park my car inside their garage

Yup, food grade SS.



Stainless kitchens can come in different options & combos. Full, semi(top & carcass) or top alone. Those in pics are full custom & non-modular. Appliances are best purchased first. Cost is always relative to size, wants, needs...pretty flexible.

I did tried the concept of raw cement sa bathroom and kitchen sa haus sa province last year. Flooring and the wall with window lang ang tiles, wall with the mirror and the back of it are raw cement with sealer.

Heater for sink and shower hidden under the sink.

Wala yan sa Lolo ko, este, sa neighbor namin, naka extend na sa sidewalk (0.5 m) ang garage gate, sagad parin ang sub compact sa gate at wall nya. Ang ganda ng bahay, definitely pina arkitekto, but the garage is a palaisipan, I don't think tricycle ang balak nya dun. Maybe it was meant to be a patio, no garage in the plan. Nakakahiya magtanong hehe.

the last time i went to tondo, years ago,
i saw this house which had a city lamp post in the middle of its sala.
the owner extended his house onto the sidewalk where the lamp post was standing on.

here in our barangay naman,
many of the houses had converted their garahes into living space. it's so obvious, because the gate is still there.
they park their cars outside on the road.

stainless steel is a popular material for industry, because they require very little care.
they also remind me of the horsepital morgue.
utterly lacking in soul.

what i like for my kitchen sink, is the old northern hill type porcelain sink with metal backing.
alas, they do not appear to make them for homes nowadays.
our current porcelain sink needs replacement, but i have resisted so, because the only affordable replacements i can get, are stainless steel.
pag stainless kasi, the room gets kinda... darker.

my smallest house has a lot area of 66 sq.m. pero commercial area kaya pinapa-rent ko nalang. but i designed it such that i could park one car and live in it if needed

Most of us live in Metro Manila, one of densest metropolitan areas in the world.

Houses on small lots in good areas is already a luxury for many.

Just look at the price for a townhouse in New Manila/Greenhills/Cubao

my hand-me-down house from my parents,
was designed by my father + the experienced senior carpenter. hey! he wasn't even an architect. neither of them had formal training. "oido and gut feeling lang".
i do not know about today, but back in the day, city hall didn't require expertise documentation...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

What you may think looks nice may not be the same for your architect. And these architects are proud of their profession. Pag palagay nya hindi maganda yung design ng client, definitely ipipilit nya yung gusto nya. Syempre pag may bumisita sa bahay nung client later on, definitely mag ask yung bisita who's the architect. Mag reflect agad yung design ng house sa architect, be it good or bad.

A license doesn’t mean that he/she can design properly.

of course meron. baka nga yung iba eh pumipirma na lang...yung engineer contractor na lang ang bahala sa lahat.

TBH, I prefer consulting engineers for structural integrity...
