Most importantly, the doors and windows are grills para lampasan ang hangin. It's also where fat lab stays during the day
when we were younger, many houses in the area had dirty kitchens, and only a few had indoor kitchens,
because many of us used forest products as fuel.
    kahoy! firewood!

we grew up with the delicious taste of smoked food.

When we designed the house, my wife and I decided not to make a dirty kitchen or an outdoor one. We spent some time living in the US and within local condominiums. You can make do with just an indoor kitchen.

A kitchen island is so much worth it. We got the sink, water purifier, and dishwasher built into it. Plus the extra space makes up for a good counter if you want to eat within the kitchen. I also mounted a TV (plugged into cable and data network) beside the pantry so I can watch something if I am hanging out in the kitchen.

Yes sulit talaga island, we do our prep there and we eat there also most of the time since di kami sabay sabay kumain, 2 seater din lang. We have the same faucet with the switch sa dulo on the island only mine does not sway sideways kasi single tub sink lang.

Wala yan sa Lolo ko, este, sa neighbor namin, naka extend na sa sidewalk (0.5 m) ang garage gate, sagad parin ang sub compact sa gate at wall nya. Ang ganda ng bahay, definitely pina arkitekto, but the garage is a palaisipan, I don't think tricycle ang balak nya dun. Maybe it was meant to be a patio, no garage in the plan. Nakakahiya magtanong hehe.

That's too tight, we rented a house before and the size was 3x6, ok sa haba but gipit sa gilid. So when we did our house, the garage was 4m wide, pwede sagad open lahat ng doors.

If allowed building code and village restrictions, I like how they did it. They firewalled the neighbor but maintained a 2 meter easement/patio, privacy and ventilation is maintained.

2.5x5 is just a code minimum. Its enough for multiple slots such as those in buildings. The space between lines in malls is typically 2.5m

For a house, 3m is the minimum width for a single wall to wall parking slot, around 5.6m for two.

Violation iyan sa village/city house construction code, bro.

    Dapat tinatabas iyan...

Garage gates nga namin, folding para hindi lumabas sa kalye pag binuksan, pero marami rin dito na labas na sa kalye at iniiwan pang bukas... Hayyyzzzz

Accident waiting to happen, dahil pwedeng masagid ng sasakyan lalo na kung driving against the sun..

Basta ako, I have a few vehicles but all of them have covered garage inside my property.. And with that ako ang naaabuso ng pagparada ng iba sa kalye sa tapat namin. Sabi ko nga sa head of village security... Madali iyan, I will park 1 or 2 of my vehicles outside, but I will add to our problem of street parking... [emoji35] [emoji33]

Custom carpentry is a division we handle w/ much passion & care, but with utilities, we're more advocates of function than form. Below are a coupla samplings of non-show prep kitchens(pardon our poorly shot work progress pics). 'HELP-proof'. No rot nor rust worries. No pests nor mold problems. Pure function. Uber practical. Close to zero maintenance....And, yes, admittedly.... just sadly fugly.[emoji16]20190105_115430.jpg20220212_154628.jpg20190105_115448.jpg

How much charge nyo sa ganyan cabinets? Paid more than 100k for the custom kitchen cabinets. JKLV yung gumawa. They have offices in Home Depot BGC and Alabang.

Those are nice prep/auxiliary kitchens that are utilitarian. Are these stainless steel? When a client asks why the kitchen is metal, we cite that restaurant kitchens are almost always stainless steel.

Inikutan ko tuloy... At least hindi sa kalye nakaparada...

House design kasi, 2-car garage... Then later magiging 3 o 4 sasakyan....

Kaya house planning and construction, magplano ng tamang garahe!

They should have put up a folded type gate design to secure it. Di pa naman umaabot sa pedestrian walkway.

But it might be questioned by your homeowners.

Stainless kitchens can come in different options & combos. Full, semi(top & carcass) or top alone. Those in pics are full custom & non-modular. Appliances are best purchased first. Cost is always relative to size, wants, needs...pretty flexible.
