    Mga peeps
Tanong ko lang kung may alam kayo na authorized distributor ng Coleman o Honda Gensets malapit sa Baguio. Naghahanap kami gensets na 3 to 5KVa, pang bahay, pang trabaho (field works).
Much better kung welder generator na, yung tipong 2 in 1, puwedeng pang welding, puwede rin generator.
Meron kasi dito sa SM Ace lang, yung mga maliliit na shops naman, usually China made, di advisable kung pangmatagalan ang gamit.

    Salamat

No problem bro. May 1HP motor pump pa palang kasama sa load ng genset for our (pressurized) water supply sa bahay.... The pump turns on and off automatically depending on the water pressure triggers....(So hindi namin gamit ang aircon,- unless we permanently turn off the pump).....

IMO, the cost of the genset is "fully paid for" when you use it the first time....

Satisfied Honda 5KVA user here...been using this for the last 4 years, its enough to power up lights, electric fan, radio/tv, few pc...and it had been my principle ever since, no a/c or ref when using the genset (pwera na lang kung matagal talaga like nung post-Milenyo)...

for the engine, regular maintenance lang like we do sa mga vehicle engine natin...keep it running at least 2-3 times a month for at least 30 minutes, or better yet assign ka ng day to have your household or office (if sa ofc) have at least a dryrun or a drill to simulate events kapag may brownout. clean air filters and check gas/oil lever as well.

And I have made the same recommendations sa mga small satellite offices namin all over the archipelago...

Binondo and Raon are good places to hunt around for really bang for the bucks genset, they are way lower than mall prices, plus you can huggle and also get the same warranty that you will be getting.

    * Sir BB, sayang dapat pala inquire muna ako sa iyo when we installed at our offices in Davao, Butuan, at CDO...what happened was we buy here in Manila and ship it out dyan sa Mindanao, sayang ung cargo cost...nangyari kasi mabilisan yung pagsetup ng mga offices, no time to shop around sa local stores...

I'm actually in the process of building our "dream house" (sa wakas). Nasa finishing stage na kami. And one option is to have a standby genset, just in case maulit muli yung nangyari nung Milenyo. Nakaabang na yung MTS (at dito ko nalaman sa Tsikot yun... about this MTS) pinagawa ko sa contractor namin. It's just a matter of pagbili na lang nung set.

By the way, nasa magkano kaya yung 3KVA gen. set?

    Congratulations bro!

Nakita ko sa mall over the weekend,- approx P25K. I am sure that you can get it cheaper kung sa labas ka kukuha..... So, puwede mong gamitin itong figure na ito for your ballpark cost.

OT: vhenok,- ang dami mong pare-parehong posts....

Coleman or honda ok na...basta if 5kva ang genset mo, dapat less than 80% load lang ang gagamitin ng household appliances para di mastress ang genset..kung kulang meron naman 6.8kva or 7.5kva, halos nasa 60k-70k+ na ito.
