Got myself a worm bin a few weeks ago. Next week pwede na mag harvest ng vermicast. Magandang fertilizer sa mga plants and seedlings heheimg_20201107_132107.jpgimg_20201107_160341.jpg

Seed sya bro. Got them from one of the lemons i bought from the grocery w/c became overripe after it was overlooked in the ref. I just watched & followed an instructional vid on youtube and voila! [emoji3]

At least ang dog can swallow pills, nung magkaganyan cat namin, hirap painumin ng pills kasi ang laki, there's no pill popper that can handle it, ang liquid masama lasa so mas mahirap gamitin, niluluwa.

Ano magandang material (or tiles) para sa eskinita? Hindi talaga mabuhay grass kasi it's shaded (may bamboo at roof) so now it's just dirt and I want to put my bicol lab there (will put a gate on both sides) I don't want madulas, what I noticed kasi kahit mga outdoor tiles karamihan madulas pa rin. Yung Terracotta tiles, madumihin ba?

I don't like pebbles because fat lab will eat it. She likes to eat rocks

    i meant,
    "washout".
pebbles embedded in cement, with the surface cement washed out.

If you wanna retain surface water absorbency, just lay pavers over the compacted earth. No concrete pouring needed. DIYable[emoji4]

to preserve soil absorption of water,
i had the gardener/carpenter make dozens of heavy, reinforced cement blocks, for our driveway. he installed them, observing 2 (3?) inches space in between, which i filled up with soil and grass.
after over 5 years, ok pa siya. hindi mis-aligned, cracked, or lubog.
i decided to do something with our driveway kasi, because with the un-manicured driveway, i was getting flat tire on a regular basis. pantambak kasi ang ginamit nung ginawa siya...

travs expertise mo talaga anything home related no? I am impressed because this is what our architect/contractor suggested several years ago if I don't want to cement daw the area. Pinagpilitan ko pa rin i bermuda even if he warned me that the grass will just die kasi shaded. I contacted him but he is not based in Manila anymore

Doesn't this build up algae over the years? I want the fastest kasi ayoko magtagal workers sa bahay

More experience than expertise, ma'am. That's the advantage of age.[emoji4]
For everything I wanted protected from water, this used to be my go-to til I could no longer find em locally. Ace had their own version.

Or...there are similar products online like this:
PYE Slate-Seal - Clear Protecting Acrylic Sealer
You can pre-apply on dry pavers prior to laying. Re-apply periodically when you lose beading.

Both are fine. Just choose the non-slip ones. For driveways, go for thicker driveway-duty ones. Concrete pavers do come in different colors you can randomly mix & lay....with the proper eye & touch, they can look really cool.

which one is cheaper? haha It will be installed in our perimeter lang. It's only so my dog won't be lying down on soil. I will try to look for a photo na similar sa area

Concrete will likely be cheaper. Laying will be the same.

Travs parang similar sa ganito yung size ng area. A bit wider lang at partial lang hagip ng bubong.

May portion na pinalagyan ko ng gate to enclose my bicol labrador. Pero the right side kasi puro bamboo so that will be retained. I'm thinking only the middle portion will be tiled? Or better idikit sa one side of the wall?

Eto naman too wide haha, pero that's what I meant by eskinita, yung side ng house
