    sometimes,
it's not how intelligent they are,
but under what environment they are exposed to.

    also,
no malice intended, but, for a valid conclusion,
"the judge should know more than the judged".

My point is not everyone perceives intelligence porque English speaking, I know I don't, and do you think uls of all people in this forum is the type of person who'd do so as well? Malamang they conversed about intelligent topics

Kasi naman doc you practically said na baka kaya naisip ni uls na matalino dahil nadala siya sa body language and accent? I am sure he can discern beyond that

doc i didn't ask them shallow questions like "how do you like singapore?"

or "do you eat at those hawker centers?"

i was curious how studying in singapore made them different from teenagers here

since alam natin world class ang singapore i wanted to see if singapore's world-classiness rubbed off on them after staying there for many years

so i asked them deeper questions

it's probably the atmosphere they are exposed to, over there.

the so-called k-pop culture atbp that pervades our kids over here, is probably a product of the overall environment surrounding us.

and the 3392 peso question is,
    "why?"

    when we were young,
dad wanted us to go to International School,
but the tuition fee was up there beside the moon.

the second choice was lasalle, as it was near the residence,
but we didn't know anyone there.
at that time kasi, rumors galore ang school admissions... "dapat may kilala kayo" atbp.

we ended up in one of the Dominican-run schools.
    good choice naman, looking back.

Yes if I'm near Aseana I might drop by there and ask a few questions and since this is Singapore school im sure they have chinese class.

Naalala ko tuloy yung previous multinational tech company ng GF ko nagkaroon ng program. Maghhire sila ng fresh graduates which is hindi nila usually ginagawa. Out of many candidates, 1 lang ang nakuha for PH. Sa ibang SEA countries, madami nakuha. Panel interviewers consist of reps of each country. Yung reps for PH ang sabi ang layo daw talaga ng agwat ng PH candidates compared sa candidates from countries like Singapore, Malaysia, etc. Very advanced yung mga non-PH candidates.
