Ewan ko pero nawasak ang belief ko na mahirap umahon sa kahirapan (which is good) Ang susi dyan mag OFW or make money from the internet or even go to an unknown school at mag BPO, or mag asawa ng may kaya LOL! May napanood ako sa youtube sa barong barong lang talaga sila nakatira, yung parents nga niya sa squatters pa rin nakatira, pero ngayon bumili ng bahay 600 sq m ata. Ang mahirap yung mag move up from middle class to rich
May kaya pa rin kayo cathy kahit anong gawin mo mabubuhay ka.

Wala ako stress because I can come in any time I like, I could work any time I like, my boss supports everything I do and gives whatever I ask basta kaya niya. Kaya ex kuya ko na pera at title ang measure of success parati ako pinapagalitan na lumipat sa local kasi for sure daw mataas ang magiging increase ng salary ko (totoo naman na pinaka malaki increase if you move companies) pero di niya maintindihan na hindi ko priority ang sweldo. Yun nga lang, by society's standards failure siguro ako kasi wala ako naipundar at my age, but I don't really care basta masaya ako working all those years for my boss
    survive? that's easy.

dyan nga kami doc salungat ng ex kuya ko, kasi ang ex kuya ko maluho lifestyle and he wants me to have the same standard as his e hindi naman yan ang happiness ko. Sure, it would be nice to live in luxury pero mas importante sakin na nasa comfort zone ko ako

Marami can't even afford na walang trabaho kahit isang linggo or kahit isang araw.

Yeah, it's based from the exam results. No nonsense. I heard of applicants who are actually children of DOST employees who didn't pass.

kaya i don't see genZ "going" to work in the traditional sense
Super dami pa ring gen Z na empleyado. Basa ka sa phcareers sub sa reddit, vast majority empleyado pa rin. Although mas nauuso rin naman ngayon yung remote work para earning USD pero based in PH (tapos iwas tax pa). But at the end of the day empleyado pa rin yun.

Also if nasa maayos ka na corporate, mahirap rin pantayan ang income via freelancing.

I have a side gig business wala pa 1/10th ng sweldo ko. Mas sulit pa rin ifocus ko oras ko sa corporate. Pag nagplateau na pwede na magfocus more energy on side gigs but now best return of my time is still corporate.

sobra sobra work life balance ko sa previous job ko. It really helps that I love what I do so I don't really count the hours. Since my work is monthly reports, I am only busy one week in a month. The rest I could allot for my projects/initiatives

Pag dating sa real work i think GenZ will want an employer that offers remote / hybrid work

magiging demand yan ng GenZ jobseekers

old school companies that aren't flexible... those that require 5 days in the office... they'll have a hard time attracting young talent

    mapipilitan sila gumaya

Does school really matter?
