May EXPERIENCE factor na kasi. Kaya nga sabi dito, 1st job, malaking bagay yung school name. But the further you go, nasa tao na at EQ niya magdedetermine talaga.

some of these kids who graduated from the "top" schools have their noses up in the air. filipinos always love name dropping. of course you do not start from the top when you first get hired unless you came from another company from a moderate to high position. but if the applicant is a fresh graduate, it does not matter from which school, he will not start as a ceo unless he has learned the ropes. similar to the military, you do not start as a major when you graduate from the academy. you've got to earn the battle scars to earn the medals and the brass.

But a fresh PMA graduate is a tiniente already vs a praybayt from a non-PMA academe.

It does matter even in the military.

these are the people who will retire as students for life.

i know of someone who has four bachelor degrees and one master's. he is a house husband and makes his wife work for a living. no pride. mabuti pa ang karamihan ng filipino, maraming pride:
    pride rice
    pride cheeken
    pride fish.....

Apprentice agad ni Sr. Manager or ni VP.

Supervisor agad sa sariling company or sa company nang kaibigan ni Papang.

Does school really matter?
