Sorry Mods...but i think this man is going too far!

Mentality is the core of this issue.

The uniform is what is SEEN. That image is processed in the brain. It becomes the PERCEPTION. PERCEPTION BECOMES THE REALITY. Your interpretation of reality is what u have now---- your MENTALITY.

Lets face it, there is a lot of negative mentality in our society. Coz there are a lot of people with very negative view on the things they see.

there is a very popular sentiment that goes "baket sila ganun, baket tayo ganyan? Unfair! Dapat pantay pantay!"

We all know what kind of people have that kind of sentiment. And we know to whom that sentiment is directed against.

That sentiment is very dangerous considering the number of people who harbor it.

It poses a threat to the security and lifestyle of a certain class of people.

Im intentionally being vague here coz there are extra-sensitive people reading this.

But to those who gets it... well u get it.

People should not deprive themselves of the better things in life if they can afford it.

If u can afford a Porsche or a Ferrari, by all means, get one.

If u let the negative perception of people stop u from enjoying ur life, u have effectively become a prisoner of the general public's mentality. the fear of what people think or say will end up being ur most influential decision maker.

"Should i buy the new BMW?"

"baka sabihin ng mga tao mayabang ako" "baka makidnap ako"

    "Corolla nalang pwede na"

sometimes the maid themselves ask for a uniform, or they sometimes ask their boss what to wear when they go malling or to a party, so bettee hand them a uniform, the maid themselves would know when to wear and when not to wear them, me isip din naman siguro sila, thats why we hire them isnt it=)

I admire that Autoplus guy for buliding that 11 million peso Skyline. he now owns a Porsche.

I admire that Porsche dealer for driving around in a Carrera GT.

I admire that Lamborghini Murcielago owner. And the guys who own the F430's.

They tell society "hey, life is good."

"Im not afraid to live large."

there should be more people like that.

    ang saya saya!!! :D

It is very difficult to change the mind of someone who has already come to a decision. If you look for something hard enough, you will surely find it.

Case in point: the "backmasking" fad of the 80's. Kesyo pag binaligtad mo daw may satanist lyrics etc. E kahit cguro Hail Mary or Our Father pag binaliktad mo may mahanap ka talaga e.

So kahit umabot pa ng 100 pages tong thread na to, if people choose to see maids in public wearing their uniforms as degrading, it will always be so.

Doritos (para sosyal hehe) for everyone

Hindi naman kasi yan yung argument nga. Hindi yung pagiging ma-angas ang argument.

ANG ARGUMENT IS = KUNG MA-ANGAS KANG MAG-DRIVE TAPOS NAKA-CHEDENG KA PA, NAPAPASALI TULOY YUNG PAGIGING MAYAMAN MO SA PERCEPTION NILA.

Na-gets mo ba?

Can you spot the difference? Nililinaw ko lang. Looks like kaya humahaba itong thread kasi hindi kagad ma-huli kung ano yung argument. Naliligaw tuloy yung usapan.

That's right. However, putting the maids on uniform in public is like emphasizing it more. Rubbing it in. Magnifying it further than necessary. Or in tagalog parlance = O.A. na.

Hindi nga yung pagsasama ng yaya ang issue, dude. Yun ngang UNIFORM ang issue. Pag naka-uniform yung mga alalay mo, parang lalo mong gustong i-emphasize na kaya mong mag-bayad ng alalay. Sabi nga nung isa kong nabasa rito sa thread - Are you really compelled to attract attention from the public ??
