    59. The Press. Irresponsible, sensational, often inaccurate, but still the liveliest in Asia. Otherwise, we'd all be glued to TV.

There is a term given to such by a friend of mine: "motoring mafia".

Believe me, try reading those newspaper motoring sections and you'll be doused with advertorials and quite humorous/half-cooked car reviews that one can make by simply looking at the specs of a car or taking it for a short spin around the block... I may not be a perfect car critic, nor do i know personally those guys who write for the motoring sections to make a personal judgement, but they have the clout to influence the uninformed consumer just by writing for a major daily and they should be responsible and give the proper feedback.

I'm surprised i have not read anyone of them preaching about the Khaos Superdupertrooper Turbowurbodurbocharger (or did i just miss it out of natural habit?).

If they just offered the 1-series in a 3 door format... that would have lowered the price, have a lighter body and get rid of those force fit rear doors...

But he had a hard time shaking me off his tail.
ulol! wag ka na mangarap! baka naman kasi traffic or may ibang cars din kaya ayaw ihataw... kasi dati may kilala rin ako, tinatanong ko bakit ayaw niya ihataw yun M3... sabi niya kasi may ibang cars, theres no room for accident... mahirap na... pero once nakakuha kami ng medyo libre, zzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooooommm na...

(Kids, please don’t try this at home. Racing is done by professionals and should only be held in a controlled environment.)
lead by example... do you expect people to follow you after saying na nakipagunahan ka?

alam ba niya kung ilan lang ang naka MARANELLO dito? stupid! he almost identified that person... sana magkita sila... pakainin siya ng aspalto!

2.95M na ang pinakamura na BMW 3-series e46... 318 Msport.... 318 is 2.0liter not 1.8liter... wala kasi dito yun 320... more than 3M yun bagong E90... you can visit autohaus bmw if you are interested or want to see it...

No market in the Philippines. Coupes arent popular in the land of the AUV. ;)

That's why I would rather watch Top Gear/Fifth Gear who have petrolhead and car snob hosts. They got the balls to speak there mind and dont mind offending companies and owners as long what they're saying is true. Reading foreign mags also helps as well. When I was doing research on the E90 3 Series I noticed that local mags tend to not be straightforward with there problem with the car. I think they're more tolerable that there foreign counterparts.

In the end I guess you just have to do in dept research to get to the bottom of anything. Not to mention forums like Tsikot helps alot. Not to sound harsh but the local press is pretty much good for product & service announcements. All they have to do is reprint then distribute.
