natagis yata ng bus kahapon yung fence at tumumba. since interlink sya, nagkaroon ng domino effect so at least 5 vehicles yata yung na-damage..they were blaming the MMDA but the reply was, yung bus daw ang sisihin...

IMO, i know the intention is good but their idea is not working.. it just made matters worse.. pansinin nyo, imbes na yung mga bus lang ang dapat nakakulong dun, pati yung mga private cars na dapat ay nakalipat na ng lane ay naiipit pa dun kaya lalong sumisikip ang traffic.

I agree.

Before they put those tasteless pink fences, the traffic (outer lane) on Sundays between Santolan and Ortigas was flowing. Now, it's horrendous.

Since the MMDA likes to experiment a-lot, they should be under DOST.

Bat ang hilig ng MMDA sa Pink? Its not the most visible color. MMDA is doing everything to ease up traffic, yung mga hayop talaga na bus na yan ang dapat sisihin but I agree with you bro.

    Sakin eto lang...

Majority of Fil drivers are stupid and walang discipline, short of creating rails to "guide" the cars, they will never follow rules... These fences are pseudo rails...

Kung disiplinado mga drivers in the first place, these things will not even appear. So don't blame the MMDA for it...

Nag-umpisa ito nung mayor pa si Bayani. Gusto daw niya kasi, maging in the pink of health ang Marikina.

Pero nakakahiya talaga, all those rails and fences just to keep everybody in check.

You cant blame it all on the buses. How often do some of you even ride buses? I ride them almost daily.

But I strongly disagree with these pink fences. They are dangerous, they have no safety features and i've seen not only buses but also cars hit into these things. Plus the spacing of these fences are very tight. Buses barely fit into some of these lanes.

We all have a part in these...

What about those arrogant drivers trying to pass on the yellow lane?

what do you mean by arrogant drivers passing on yellow lanes? are you talking about private vehicle driver passing on yellow lanes? I'm sure most of privately owned car don;t pass sa yellow lane dahil maraming huhuli sa kanila? now how about yun PUV drivers na lumalabas ng yellow lanes?and beside yun kung yellow lanes lang hinde talaga suusnod yun mga PUV drivers, kaya nilagyan ng pink fenes para talagang meron physical barriers....ito nga hinde pa rin sumusunod sila eh

IMHO, it's "combustible" mixture of things: the fence, the undisciplined PUV and PV drivers, the pedestrians, the number of vehicles traveling along EDSA, the traffic people (those who cause traffic and those who declog traffic), the width of the road (proper urban planning decades ago would probably have solved this), the malls (everytime SM North or SM Megamall has a sale, the traffic worsens), the condition of the roads (altough DPWH started doing something about this), plus some other factor that I might have skipped.
