if you are looking for nforce2 based mobos, i recommend abit and epox mobos rather than msi... look for the epox 8rda3g or if you want one with soundstorm audio, get the abit NF7-S or the epox 8rda+ rev. 2.2 but this one is quite rare...

July 1st, 2004 12:35 AM #55kung hardcore overclocker ka da best yung abit NF7-S P6,800 or abit AN7 P7,100 both are available at risingsun computers. Pero kung mild oc'ing and super stable board ang hanap mo ok na yung msi k7n2 delta series. btw yung delta-ilsr gamit ko ngayon and i'm pretty much happy with it's performance and stability!

correction an axp 3200+ = 2.2ghz only. but why buy a 3200+ when you can get a cheaper mobile axp 2400+ and overclock it to 2.5ghz or higher. AMD is simply the best bang for the buck processor!
youre correct it does go at 2.2GHz.... ang tagal na kasi since kinalikot ko rig ko

All you guys wanting to do upgrades, try to hold your horses until Q4 2004. Big changes will come soon.
ssaloon, wag ka muna bumili ng videocard. When the Radeon X800 series and Geforce6 come out, bagsak lahat ng prices ng FX5900 and 9800pro. trust me.

BTTT (sorry for the repeated posts),
Athlon64s can run 32bit software, and as mbt pointed out, theyre pretty good at it. Plus, you can execute 64bit software and OSs when need be. So if you want a future proof PC or tamad ka mag-upgrade, go the AMD route. (Im not too sure lang if Intel's P4s can run 64bit sw... i think you need a NEW processor for this)
BTW, MERON NANG LONGHORN BETA sa favorite shops ninyo sa greenhills. So the real thing aint too far off.

Kasi ganito yun, i was fine and content with my radeon 9800 kaya lang it went kaputz. so i got the fx5900 (not bad reallye).
Kaya lang the promise of DOUBLE the graphics power is simply hard to pass up. Of course, finances are a totally different story hehehe.
i'll get it sometime next year na lang when the hype is over and more importantly, when the prices are realistic.
Nakakatawa nga e. the FX5900 can play any existing game (that i play) smoothly, pero iba talaga hatak ng id ko (psychologically speaking).
Boy, am I glad I never bought an Ecosport!
