Netflix to charge for Password Sharing in 2023 >> YugaTech | Philippines Tech News & Reviews
According to the Wall Street Journal, the move aims to crack down on the reported 100 million Netflix users who use passwords shared by family and friends to help curb its recent loss of subscribers.
The streaming service will reportedly charge an additional USD $3 or Php 165.76 (USD $1 = Php 55.25) for users who use shared passwords.
As per Netflix policy, accounts are only supposed to be shared by users residing or living in the same house or location. However, this rule has largely been bypassed by many users prompting Netflix to contemplate and implement measures such as its “add a home” feature or the aforementioned password-sharing fee.
The report explains that Netflix will enforce its new rules based on IP addresses, device IDs, and account activity.
The fee is slated for release in the US in early 2023. No official reports of when the additional charge will come over to the Philippines have been released, but it would be safe to assume that it will also roll out on Philippine shores in the same year.
I think I'll cancel na lang pag nag charge sila sa kin ng extra. Although I'm not sharing my Netflix pero iba iba location sinasabi ng Netflix sa kin pag may nag login sa account ko. Depende siguro sa ISP. This is a great way for Netflix to lose even more subscribers, after losing a lot last year. They have a cap of 4 concurrent streaming, isn't that enough?
Vivamax na lang. Just kidding 😂

Netflix cancels 1899. So we won’t get the planned trilogy like Dark.
Netflix Cancels 1899 (& Why That Seems Short-Sighted)
Inside man (not to be confused w/ the movie)
Stanley tucci plays a death row convict doing some detective work behind bars. The plot has so many twists and turns making the 4 episode series a worthy watch.

It's currently sitting at 7.1 in IMDB user reviews, and I gave it a 6.5 (6.8 if I'm not giving half-star ratings) after finishing the movie.
I came in with the knowledge of its standing, plus I skimmed over some of the reviews, so I did expect it to kind of wow or captivate me emotionally. All throughout the film runtime that expectation sort of hovered over me, especially given it's slow pace in most parts. All in all it's not a bad movie nor can I say that it's underwhelming as it would be unfair given that I set up the bar myself. Ayun lang ang isang tradeoff ng may advance info ka na whatever detail it might be. I could have probably enjoyed it more if coming in with no expectations.
The Best Way to Watch 'Kaleidoscope' on Netflix. A Complete Guide - CNET
This isn't the first time Netflix has experimented with nonlinear storytelling. In 2018, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch offered a choose-your-own-adventure take on a film about a computer programmer. The following year, viewers got to make decisions for adventurer Bear Grylls in You vs. Wild.Netflix tweeted some order suggestions, if you're interested in watching Kaleidoscope as a Quentin Tarantino film -- ostensibly a reference to nonlinear Tarantino films like Pulp Fiction -- (Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Violet, Pink, White, Red) or like a classic detective story (Orange, Green, Violet, Red, Yellow, Blue, White, Pink).Watching this show chronologically feels like missing the point. If I could go back and watch in a different order, I'd bump up Red (but leave Pink where it is) and flip Yellow and Green, as I think Yellow would be the strongest episode to start.
So, like this:
Yellow.
Green.
Violet.
Orange.
Red.
Blue.
Pink.
White.![]()

Christian bale delivers a believable performance in this period crime thriller. It's a Worth-your-while kind of movie

Single's Inferno II
So it comes to an end. It was an emotional ending with Seul-Ki picking Jung-Woo rather than Jin-Young in the end it just proves that perseverance can still win the heart of a woman even though she likes someone else. I was surprise with Se-Jeong no one pick her being the hottest girl in the group.
