I remember this was a 3 part movie and was fun to watch due to its strategic twist sa approach nila during the war.
But it seems 3 movies compiled into 1 lang tong Netflix version, parang nawala yung strategic twist ng story. Marami sigurong na cut from original version.

Watched Constantine for the nth time yesterday. I'd say it's arguably one of the best comic book adaptations ever. Too bad it was just a bit ahead of its time so I guess that's why the reception wasn't as big as the MCU rivals it eventually had.

The writing is great, the cast is very solid, and the effects aren't bad at all.

I think this flick featured the best looking version of Rachel weisz. She was definitely in her prime here.

The androgynous looks of tilda swinson really amazes me. 1st time I watched her here Akala ko lalake Siya since male Naman si archangel gabriel. [emoji23]

Btw , there's reportedly a sequel in the works. I wonder if that'll push through. Makes me think too if the human version of angel Gabriel will be back. Interesting to see how they'll tackle the angel to human transitional experience.

agree on the solid casting. 1st time to see Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale in any acting role and i think he evoked the dislike fitting to his character.

Djimon Hounsou was great as witch doctor Midnite, and Satan was unique as well. But Swinton takes the cake. makes me wonder if her role as Gabriel led her to get casted as the Chosen One in Dr. Strange.

great storyline, killer twist at the ending. one other underrated movie about angels bringing apocalypse upon humans is Legion.

There’s this great movie in the 90s titled The Prophecy. Where Gabriel leads another faction of angels on earth to find the prophesied one. So parang he was against the group of Michael & Lucifer as well.
