I watched it primarily because of Leighton meester. She looks very different now when compared to her "gossip girl" days. I guess she didn't bother to go under the knife to defy the natural aging process. Good for her.

Blood, s*x, and royalty

The very ambitious and Legendary Anne Boleyn is the star of the show here. She's portrayed in a modern womanly way w/c makes an interesting affair. Not sure why but I've always found her intriguing. It doesn't help that she's portrayed by the extremely pretty Amy James-Kelly. She has got to be One of the best owners of a ***y cleft chin. [emoji3526]

It's currently sitting at 7.1 in IMDB user reviews, and I gave it a 6.5 (6.8 if I'm not giving half-star ratings) after finishing the movie.

I came in with the knowledge of its standing, plus I skimmed over some of the reviews, so I did expect it to kind of wow or captivate me emotionally. All throughout the film runtime that expectation sort of hovered over me, especially given it's slow pace in most parts. All in all it's not a bad movie nor can I say that it's underwhelming as it would be unfair given that I set up the bar myself. Ayun lang ang isang tradeoff ng may advance info ka na whatever detail it might be. I could have probably enjoyed it more if coming in with no expectations.

I enjoyed this film, I thought that there could be a twist at the end and thought that it would never come.
