Good am sir, just want to ask if kailan dapat magpalit ng ATF mazda 3 3rd gen? thanks
anyone has a checklist for the PMS? curious on which xxx task should be done every xxx km..
can't find any resource on the net (for my sky m2)
Most casas I've been to usually don't have the 'dialysis' machine to suck out and replace all of the ATF, including the amounts in the input/ output lines leading to the radiator and back. SOP lang ata nila drain and fill.
Big gas stations have the machine and you can see the fluid really coming out so you have a good idea if the fluid is really changed. JMHO, go for the dialysis method if you can.
The point of flush, aka dialysis, is convenient total fluid refresh. No dirty pan drop. The downside? Flushing really dirty old fluid can risk mixing up settled debris in areas they shouldn't be. We have no way of knowing how various dialysis equipments move fluid... opposite or along the transmission's normal operating fluid flow direction. Opposite won't be good. And...you can't change the filter.
An OCD would do both. Flush & drop the pan. Who would want new fluid running thru the old filthy filter?[emoji4]

Unless the pan drop method is not possible Master Trav? Last time I had my unit's oil changed, I saw right away that the tranny did not have a pan, just a drain plug.
It had a 'plate' on the front of it with an access hatch where one could check the level of the fluid during maintenance.
if you can't drop the pan, then you do not have that option.
you can do only what you can do.
times like these, i am happy i MT.
