I have my eyebrows raised on these items:
    decarb cleaning
    deposit cleaner
    oil cleaner
    oil care

I also think those items are not indicated in the owners manual.

after the requisite casa-sourced pms aka 3 year warranty,
i was so happy, having my oil change at the gas station.

wala pila.. everything finished in under an hour.. over 50% cheaper than casa.. no pressure sales.. malapit pa sa workplace.

the problem with off-casa pms, is that one has to dictate the job description sometimes.. and one is not quite confident the mechanic knows what he's doing.
but if the owner is not well-versed with pms...

I have a question regarding my upcoming PMS for my 2015 HB Mazda 3, my casa is recommending me to have the non-standard package for their maintenance, which costs 29k php compare to their basic package of 12k php.

One item stood out for me on the list, and that is the “DECARB CLEANING”

My question is, for a 4yrs old with a 40k mileage, is this really required?

And this package is for 80k mileage vehicles, i guess they are following the age of the car instead of the mileage.

Hope you guys can enlightened me.

    Thank you!!

Just have em do oil & filter change. Their deposit cleaner seems 100% overpriced unless they're dropping 2 bottles. My Sky 3 is older & has clocked more kms than yours. The most recent casa PMS early this year set me back Php4940....covered Mazda genuine oil filter, 5liters Shell Helix Ultra 5w-30, Mazda deposit cleaner. Stop there. Have em check your intake & cabin filters. If filthy, your call to grab new ones. Ask for their à la carte service menu...not the buffet.Question on maintenance

Oh, ask their parts dept how much a bottle of Mazda FL22 coolant is. It shouldn't be more than P1k for the 1 shown below. Grab 1 for DIY top up.

a good restaurant at the turn-around pole of the trip, helps.
Italian tune up wouldn’t do anything to a direct injection engine like the mazda 3.

I’d ask how they would decarbonize it.

Would you recommend the same for a 13k odo reading and no PMS the entire 2018?
