tsk tsk tsk...
kung pwede lang i-test ko ang airbags ko without damaging anything..
not sure...but i think ford was right the impact may not be strong enough. there are certain limitations to the deployment of the airbags one is hitting poles or trees, the situation is somewhat similar ung gitna lang kc ung tinamaan though the damage is quite severe. it wouldnt even deploy when your hit by the side unless your driving a 6 which have curtain airbags. you can see your manuals about the limitations to the deployment of our airbags...
sana pala kinabig pa nya konti sa left or right, ehehe. sa price nang 2.0 (R) sana man lang may sensor un sa gitna for poles or trees or anything pag tinamaan ung gitna.
Airbags are only supplementary, they're not always going to go off. I've seen my share of serious frontal and offset impacts, and in only 2-3 cases out of 10 did the airbags deploy.
That the guy and his wife escaped serious injury and the lack of cabin deformation indicate the car did its job of protecting them. His wife hit her chin on impact. This indicates she was leaning forward to protect...

her dog (and carrying a small animal or child in the front seat is always a big NO-NO). Thus, if her airbag went off, it may hav likely killed her.
And note: she managed to hold on to her dog. If the impact was strong enough to necessitate airbag deployment, she couldn't have done that.

The V has 16" mags, ABS w/ EBD, and Airbags. The S comes with 15" mags only and no safety features like the V.Originally Posted by alpha-q

The "next" version is mostly a cosmetic upgrade. But you can ask at Mazda if they're bringing in a manual transmission version. If they are, given the decent fuel economy of the 1.6 Focus MT (with a heavier body, to boot), you might want to wait for that.

I suggest that you visit a Mazda dealership to take a peek at their financing schemes.Originally Posted by ax2x3m
