Good to know. How about the interior (tachometer, gadgets, lcd, etc.) sir is there much difference? And can you differentiate the 2.0 and 2.5 just by looking at the exterior? Unfortunately we only have the 2.0 available on display here in Davao.

On the exterior, the 2.5 has 19inch wheels, drl's are on when in motion or if parked you'll see that there's a camera on the windshield use for the lane departure warning system. Looking from behind you'll be able to tell coz just below the CX5 logo there's AWD logo. Not much difference on the interior except for additional safety features buttons ie: AFS, Tire pressure warning, LDS, up/down hill assist, istop, (forgot the other one) total of 6.

I guess I couldn't wait for the next model. The 0% interest on PRO model is so tempting. I may get mine this month. What tips do you guys have when buying a brand new CX-5? Aside from checking the mileage what caveats should I check? I'm a bit skeptic about the 0% interest they offer. hahaha I'm thinking they are doing this promo for something fishy. lol

Thank you very much for your interest in the Mazda CX-5. However, we regret that we cannot share this information at this time.

Well it sounds like they are indeed rolling out a refreshed model anytime soon. If not, then they could have just said no.

guys, anyone ever noticed a pronounced wind noise on speeds 90kph above? parang hindi proportionate yung escalation ng wind noise as you go faster to the point it drowns out the stereo. checked my liners and they are all intact. windows all sealed.

any inputs? or manipis lang talaga insulation ng cx5 natin? thanks!

Try activating the ALC feature of the head unit para magcompensate sa paglakas ng outside noise. Hehe

if you dont mind the price difference.... get the AWD. i bought the PRO before xmas... till now im still rationalizing my decision hehe

After using our CX5 AWD 2.5 for almost a year and logging in 82XXkms, no problem so far, aside from the "tok" sound when you full steer on the left but this issue was addressed by mazda by lubricating it - speaking of, i will request for replacement in my 1 yr pms because problem reoccur after few months of lubricating it. According to SA of Mazda Makati, replacement will be made if lubricating did not solved the problem.

Same here. Make sure the mileage isn't more than 30. They do test drive the unit before releasing it but it shouldn't be more than that otherwise they should explain to you or better yet get a different unit. FYI the i-stop battery of CX-5 costs around 15k. Hope that helps.

Wait for the new CX-5 if you need the height. Otherwise they're pretty similar

Same here. I am experiencing the "tok" sound when I turn the steering wheel fully. What could be causing it?

My car's odometer is only 1,300km.

Kung di nga lang mabaha sa amin at di nag tatravel ng malayo (100-150km/week) I'd go for Mazda 3 eyes closed! haha. Thanks sa tip sir. Sa tingin ko 4th Quarter pa darating ang bago na CX-5 based sa timeline nila sa Mazda 3 when it was released in US around June 2013, sa Pinas April 2014 pa dumating.
