July 6th, 2013 02:01 AM #812Yeah, daming CX-5 owners sa Malaysia, even saw a Speed Sensing door lock module for sale in one of the FB pages of a Malaysian car accessories shop.
Which for the life of me, cant understand why doesn't come standard on a 1.4M car. Heard that a CX-5 Mazda plant was being built there so soon hindi na CBU from Japan yung mga CX-5, meron na rin from Malaysia

July 6th, 2013 07:17 PM #820OK, after traveling 384.9 Kms, the best i got was 9.3 L /100 kms. Currently it is at 10.4 L/100km after i entered the City. Route was Mindanao Ave, NLEX, SCTEX, Mac Arthur Hiway all the way to Manaoag and back. The fastest i did only was 150 kph. Gusto ko pa sans humirit pero the wifey noticed na mabilis na ako. hehehehe.
Passed by Mazda Pampanga for the 1000 PMS on the way back.

Told the service guys na medyo malakas nga sa Gas. I guess given that this is a 2.5 engine then talagang may kalakasan. The guys however said that they are monitoring the situation given that this is a 2.5L engine. as to the 2.0 they know na matipid talaga.
Oh well, given the higher FC of this compared to the 2.0, I will continue to monitor and see what kind of improvements we can get. Perhaps changing the Air filters to the K&N will help when it becomes available here.

In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy all the features that this car have.
Sir Cyf, It is up to you to decide which one you would want to get. At the end of the day it is a CX-5. Cheers.
