why?

this is what i noticed so far, i've been here on tsikot for about 2-3 months and the hyundai owners are very defensive pag pinag usapan na ang hyundai. pag pinag compare mo ang isang car against a hyundai, hyundai owners suddenly comes in na para bang sinabi mo na the other car is better than the hyundai. lalo na si gen.mitting maganda lang ata sa kanya eh yung santa fe nya, no offense to hyundai owners.

sayang, i was in tokyo last week and tried looking for CX-7 accessories. unfortunately, wala akong makahanap mazda shop except in faraway odawara town and i didnt have time to drop by anymore

hi guys! i got my black cx7 last december sa mazda makati..super ok exterior at interior nya..parang rx8 ung mukha nya and the interior looks like an airplane cockpit lalo na sa gabi..downside lng na napansin ko is the high fuel consumption..gnawa ko na lahat ng tricks i know para tumipid ung consumption during city driving pero 6km/liter lang tlaga eh! sa long drive nman nag-improve lang ng konte, 6.5km/liter! i've been driving the car from taguig to makati everyday and ganun talaga cnsumption nya..dinala ko na nga din sa mazda makati pra ipa-check ung engine kc they claimed before na 15km/liter dw ung consumption ng cx7 nung pinatest drive nla sa DENR pa kamo..sabi ko nlang baka downhill ung ginawa nilang testdrive..hehe..one more sad thing bout the car is its suspension..its kinda stiff to think na its running on 70series na tires..naghesitate tloy ako na palakihin ung mags ko at i-low profile ung tires ko kc bka lalong maging matagtag..yun lang nman as of now mga probs ko..other than those satisfied nmn ako overall sa cx7 ko and il still choose it over other cars kung papiliin man ako ulet..

yep, FC is a bit of a concern. i am averaging about 6.5km/l on an average speed of 16-17km/h. monitor mo lang average speed mo. the higher it is, the better will be the fuel consumption

for the ipod adapter, i just used an audio to audio jack. all you need to do is to plug one end to the ear phone input jack of the ipod and the other to the accessory input jack inside the center console. it is enough to have your ipod play on the 7's stereo system although you need to control the songs selection and other functions from the ipod. with the same jack, i can also use a generic cd-r king mp3 player also and play it on the 7s stereo system, hehehehe

as for the all weather mat, i am using a rubber one that is shaped like a bowl. useful for keeping the damp and dirt on the mat

looking for the adapter that will let you control the iPod through the HU controls......parang nakita ko sa thread na ito ill just backread.

Sa mats, Im already in the process of ordering OEM rubber mats in ebay, sakto meron pinupuno si misis ng balikbayan box.

Overall, im very much happy with the CX7. Considered the 4x2 Montero and the 2.0 Impreza hatch....but Im really glad I got the CX7. Even my dad, who owns a Ukraine edition MOntero Sport, is quite impressed with build quality...and Im seeing him swapping with the crossover on some occasions.

as akin naman, okay lang. even in the summer heat, i have it at 22 deg but blower at about 3 notches. si kumander ang palaging nag rereklamo na masyadong malamig daw

same here a/c is not a problem with our cx7 even naka park pa sa open ....can't compare it with other car models kasi yun last ride ko tribute wala din akong problema sa a/c.....perhaps it's just me........and 111prez pala....

hi guys! i've been reading this thread for the past week...explored the red cx-7 yesterday at the last day of MIAS. even my parents want it as much as i do! waaah! iniisip ko palang, na-eexcite na ako! sana 'to na nga yung car na hinahanap ko. i just want to ask for advice from you guys who already have a cx-7...i'm a female fresh-grad and as a gift, my parents is giving the option to choose a car in the range of 1-1.5million. i don't know much about the stuff under the hood/performance (whatever-you-call-it) and reading this thread is much helpful. just want to ask if it's advisable for me to choose the cx-7...i'm somewhat concerned din kasi sa maintenance niya and baka OA sa gas consumption since it's a 2.5L gas engine. baka hindi ko keri at mamulubi ako! hehe! need your help deciding guys! looking forward to be part of your group someday...

for me, the most objective opinion i can give you is to test drive your choices. make at least three choices of vehicles with the 7 of course as one of them and see which suits you best depending on your needs and parameters

as for the maintenance cost of the cx-7, the first 1,000km and 10,000 km are free of charge at the mazda casa. i don't know though how much it will cost after that.

so far, i have logged in only 2,200km on my odometer so it may be some time before i need to bring the car in. right now, my maintenance routine is just checking the water level for the washers, tire pressure and car wash every now and then

I've already testdrove a mazda3 and honda civic 1.8s although originally, i reserved for a civic 2.0. then i was advised na since more than 1 million ang civic 2.0, why not get an suv instead?! moreover, hindi masabi ng dealer kung when talaga dadating ang 2.0S na civic. so i made reservations for a 4x2 CR-V naman. kaya lang, love ko talaga ang mazda cars. there's 'tis fulfillment and distinction 'pag nakasakay ka na...iba talaga eh! waaah! lalo na nung nasakyan ko yung CX-7 sa MIAS. so my dad agreed to get a CX-7 pero siyempre, he's partly concerned din with the fuel consumption. it doesn't have to be really efficient naman...basta hindi masyadong mabigat sa bulsa yung gas. hehe! kasi he has a diesel pajero na 2.8...and for him, matipid yun. so now i really can't decide whether to risk getting a CX-7 (because i love it soo much!) or just get a mazda3 1.6V sedan...of course, i'll be more than happy sa CX-7 kaso yun nga, baka patay-patay naman ako sa gas considering i'm unemployed and will rely on my dad for gas money. *sigh* sorry if i'm soo madaldal sir...hehe! i seriously need expert advice...thanks!
