January 30th, 2010 04:13 PM #161Aside from the things mentioned above, the CX-7 is still a notch better in build quality and ergonimics than most SUVs of its class. The CX7 is a driver's car nonetheless.[/QUOTE]
could'nt agree more on this.....definitely a driver's car.....

coming from my 2 kids observation..comparing the 2nd row seats from our previous tribute and the cx7...mas maluwang daw ang tribute kesa cx7.....but they prefer the cx7 once the back seats are folded kasi more spacious than the tribute...sila lang 2 naman ang pasahero sa 2nd seat eh...during our road trip tawag nila sa cx7 eh cx7 hotel..hahahaha...we have the same observation with 111prez regarding the 2nd row seats.....compared to the tribute mas ok ang 2nd row seats kasi kitang kita ang harap and more legroom ang tribute....can't have it all ...pero im satisfied with our cx7,,kasi ako ang nasa driver seat eh....ha,ha..ha...

May nagpalagay na ba sa inyo ng backup sensors? I had mine installed today, yung eletromagnetic ek-ek type. No drilling of holes sa bumper, it's just a metallic strip (actually, parang palara lang sya) sticked to the inside part of the rear bumper. This strip acts as the sensor.
Medyo erratic sya, there are times na hindi tumutunog, may times naman na kahit walang obstacle, beep ng beep. Parang gusto ko tuloy palitan. Anong brand ba ang pinaka ok na backup sensor?

i had a six point (4 rear and 2 front) backing sensor installed by the casa. the distance and warning displays are on the rear view mirror (a clip on to the stock rear view mirror). so far okay naman and very accurate. the only problem is that i have to keep turning the mute button on during regular drives around the city because the front alarm keeps on beeping because of motorcycles, pedestrians and cars that are too close during heavy traffic. when i am parking, then i turn off the mute button

How much did the backup sensors cost?
Btw, where is the switch for the front fog lamps located?

*boybi -- i got the backing sensors for P6000, i think. let me check though as i keep all the receipts
for the foglamps, the on/off switch is located on the headlight control knob at the left of the steering wheel. may indicator light sa instrument panel to show if the foglamp is on or off.
by the way, you can also control the brightness of the instrument panel. its the knob to the left of the trip control knob on the instrument panel
