hello sa lahat! pasali naman sa club na ito. I have been reading/following this thread for quite some time now pero silent participant lang (stalker ba? ) until today...
I've had mine since January. White po. I have driven it as far as Batangas down south and also up the mountains of Tanay, Rizal in the East. I haven't had the chance to take it up north though but I am looking forward to it. I have also tried using the tiptronic (some call it sportronic) in Tanay nung medyo malaki na ang gradient nung kalsada na dinaanan namin. Maganda ang hatak and very smooth ang ride ng cx7. I love my cx-7! it was worth the wait.

Ser sherwintommy, nakaka fake nga yung size nung CX-7, feeling ko rin kasinglaki nya lang yung Sante Fe pero actually, mas maliit sya. Anyway, stunner talaga CX-7!

What Greenhills couldn't do, Alabang did. :2thumbsup:

Mazda Alabang delivered my white CX-7 last March 31. Drove up to Tagaytay for lunch on April 2 and it was a great ride.

I just refilled the tank 3 days ago, so I'm not sure if gas cubby is giving me an accurate reading but it says that my consumption is at 6.65 km/L. (I use Caltex silver because of the rebates on my MasterCard)

Of course, I have not told Mazda Greenhills that I have one already. I want to wait and see whether they'll get back to me or not as their GM, Mike Valdecaņas said they would.

Also, it seems like their customer service is just as bad at the head office. Anika Salceda, AVP of communications for Ford Philippines, acknowledged receipt of the email about my incident last February 22, and despite my repeated follow ups on March 14, March 18, March 26 and April 8, I still have no updates from her.

What I'm excited about now is the iPod adapter kit I ordered which should be arriving in about a month or so. I didn't order the backup camera because the way I understand it, there would an exposed wire running down the windshield to the rearview mirror, parang pangit tignan. Still thinking about the mudguards, I'm not sure if it would lower the overall clearance, meaning sasayad sa humps.

All in all, it's a beautifully designed car, much to the envy of the two guys in the office who didn't want to wait and got other brands instead.

Guys.....ano disadvantage ng Red color? Im waiting for a silver unit....but theres a hint from the sales agent na baka matatagalan paghihintay ko. My Xty will be sold tomorrow so Ill be car-less for a while.

White mahaba ang pila. Black...I once owned a Black civic and maintaining it was just not my cup of tea. Wala kasi pila sa Red. What dya think guys....

My first choice was the CX7 but until now, my agent in Quezon ave. branch has not updated me. I reserved 1st week of December but still no word so i decided to just get this tucson. I will be going to that dealership to make a refund of my deposit.

Im not the type who would continue to pursue the uncertain waiting time and being an impulse buyer that i am, i think i made a good choice of settling for the one that's available instead of waiting for something that might take longer than expected.

agent called up. hehehe. will get a red this week.

2010 tucson is such a pleasure to drive. got a black just 3 weeks ago since i can no longer wait for cx7. i was hoping the delivery of cx7 will be more delayed but its coming already.

hopefully in 2 weeks, i can relate to you the difference.

    congratulations on your new baby

as for the FC, what was your average speed? i drove my white 7 to tagaytay on good friday and tagaytay traffic was worse than makati traffic on a busy day. plus we also went down to talisay, taal for lunch at flamingo resort

yet my FC for the trip back and forth (makati-tagaytay-taal-tagaytay-makati), up and down, moving and standstill was all in all about 9km/l for an average speed of 25km/h

    Thanks.

I based my consumption on the gas cubby app on my iPhone. I was too eager to get my CX-7 that I forgot to reset the trip computer when I first gassed up in Alabang so, for now, I can't trust the MID reading (14 km/L, avg speed of 3km/h). I drove up to Tagaytay around 11am that same Friday, the only traffic i encountered was on the rotonda (i passed through Southwoods) on the way up, there was no traffic on the way down (around 5pm).

Now that I've gassed it up again and reset the computer this time, I'll monitor my consumption through both my iPhone and the MID and post both.
