There are now videos on Youtube from car journalists other than the reviewers from Mexico who had their first hand on the new 3. Mostly are saying that the handling is good or has improved and the cabin is quiet. So, I hope this end your fear on the beam.

219 Mazda 3 - Thoughtfully Refined Compact Car
"The big news with this 3 is that the multilink rear suspension has been replaced with a simpler torsion-beam axle. Fortunately, this doesn't lead to the collapse of civilization that you might expect. The sedan and hatchback both get the same tune, so even though we only drove sedans, we can expect the hatch to handle similarly. A 16-inch wheel is standard, and our sedan came on optional 18-inch wheels. All-season tires are fitted to both wheel sizes. As you might expect with a relatively low-profile 215/45R-18 tire, the ride is definitely firm, but impacts are dispatched quickly, and even harsh ones are dissipated without drama.
Bending the suspension into a few hard corners reveals good body control."

Mas gusto ko porma ng sedan kesa hatchback sa 2019 M3. Parang Mazda6 sedan na ang hitsura 8-)

I recall similar, more significant loud arguments fade.... Wayback when the superior double wishbone fronts were switched to Macphersons & currently when ATs have gone down to CVTs. Look at what most who've complained are driving now.[emoji13]

Sir kumusta Mazda2 mo? Ilang years na po ba siya, and what is the current odo? What can you say about reliability? Yung kasama ko kasi sa office gusto bumili ng sub-compact hatchback. He is looking at the Mitsubishi Mirage (not the G4). I convinced him to take a look also at the M2 pero mukhang namamahalan siya. When I inquired at the casa the last time, I learned that the M2 does not come with Yojin.

The 2 provides awesome driving experience. Fun, agile, nimble & rev-happy. Suspension is tuned more on the sporty side. It shares the same engine w/ the 1.5Sky 3, but is slightly detuned w/o the 4-2-1 header the 3 has. It runs so well on regular unleaded. Never knocks/pings. The sport mode, the responsive Skyactiv tranny & its kickdown switch will add more to the fun. Twisties & the backroads are its natural habitat.
Our DJ's Yojin will expire 3rd quarter this year. It has had no extra visits to the dealership except for the regular PMS. Reliability is proven.
I've asked about Yojin offering on the 2. There was a brief period they suspended it on a batch to hold the tag when excise was 1st slapped. I believe the current units have Yojin back. Ask the dealership about it.
One drawback.....With the kodo long bonnet & cab-back design, one can't expect the same space the Jazz offers.
It's a great fun lil car. Read up on the reviews of the Toyota Yaris iA. That's a masked M2DJ.
    This looker, a poor man's MX5, will be a keeper.[emoji4]

Salamat sa input sir. It's good to hear from a real owner rather than from "reviews" from those who only had a chance to drive the car for a few hours 8-)

Anytime, sir. Someone close pulled the trigger before the new prices took effect. He's extremely happy w/ his M2DJ Hatch(more than covers his needs), while his son got the BN Speed3.[emoji4]

Anybody has the same problem with my 3?

There is knocking on the front left hand side when going uphill(ONLY uphill) at around 2,000-2,500 RPM. Already have spring protectors installed. Brought it to the dealership yesterday and they told be they just did bolt tightening but when I tested it, its still there.

btw wag ka pumayag na silip lang gawin sa shock mount, cause mine looked OK kahit tanggalin yun rubber cover. pero after baklasin, kulang na ng bulitas yun bearing

I'm using the ctek ct5 because my M3 uses the enhanced flooded battery for iStop. I also use the ct5 for ordinary motolite battery used in 4 older cars. It was able to extend the ordinary battery up to 3 years (by average the batt would last between 1.5 to 2 years).

Thank you sir. How long do you charge your M3 using sa CT5? Is it okay to charge even you just purchased a new battery?

You can leave it plugged w/o limit when parked. New batt or old.

I charge my M3's battery daily, takes about 2 to 3 hours to full charge. Sometimes I would leave it charging overnight.

It's ok to use ctek with a new battery. In fact it's highly recommended.
