I've been posting about these annoying noises (the brake pedal is my pet peeve) since my 1st month of ownership. I wasn't expecting these for a brand new car like the M3. I drive a 15 year old Honda Accord and it's much more quiet as far as the suspension noise is concerned (and no brake pedal noise too)! Yeah the M3 drives great, I like the man-machine connection but those tok (and brake pedal) noise can be really disappointing.

Connectedness & plush are 2 ends unlikely to ever meet. The latter will definitely be better at numbing the sensation & keeping those noises off.
It's all relative. I came from a rattly go-kartesque daily driver w/ stiff stock suspension...the backroad twisties were its natural habitat. Connectedness was exhilerating...at the expense of silence & comfort.
Upon passing those daily chores to our 1st Mazda, a hobo 1.5 Sky, I found the balance I never thought one can get....great drive, a suspension firm but comfy, efficient & economical. Noises? It doesn't pretend to be a Camry nor an Accord. Again, it's relative. Where I came from, this is silence.[emoji4]

Very well said sir! Despite those little noises from my M3, it's still a joy to drive this machine. Perhaps upgrading the sound system for better sound quality after the M3's 3 year warranty will probably lessen my disappointment with those noises (including the brake pedal).

If it gives you silence, then there's your suspect.
