[QUOTE=bugsmobile;3379964]Upgrade to Apple Carplay/Android Auto if you haven't yet. Bought one from Lazada for P2.7k lang IIRC., I bought the one that has Type C connection for faster charge. Just youtube on how to install it, fairly easy naman.

Thanks, bro Bugs. Do you have a Lazada link for it?

I'm still using the free Android Auto version I downloaded from Mazda 3 Revolution and installed via USB.

Question: For our Mazda3 BM/BN, which interface should we get? Type-C or P2A wired?

    Thank you brother Bugs.

Just a question with everyone, has anyone replaced their CV joint or CV axle or buong drive shaft assembly?

Dami ko na napalitan sa pang ilalim inlcuding replacing the CV Boot a few months ago. Hindi mawala yung vibrations during acceleration.

Back in 2022 may vibrations din pero nawala siya after palit ng engine mount, ngayon naman may vibrations uli pero a bit different ramdam siya sa pedals tapos na eexperience ko lang during acceleration pag bumitaw ako sa pedal nawawala.

What's the latest firmware version for our mazda3 infotainment? Im still on v31.00.100. I never bothered to update it before but now that Android Auto is available, I'm thinking of updating mine. Where can I get the latest firmware? Thanks

Does anyone know where to score a pair of side mirror assembly for Mazda3 BM? Initially tried to just replace the motor c/o mikstore but their tech broke both the plastic thing that attaches the mirror, and now both are mirrors are flapping whenever I am cruising the skyway. It does not have to be brand new.

    Thanks.

Its V70.xx.xxx na. Plus kung need mo ng Android Auto (hindi hacked), then you need to buy the upgrade kit.

As for the latest firmware, meron akong copy.

Oh & plate relocator from sir Travs!
Oi teka, di ba kinabitan na kita ng AA kit? Bakit bumili ka ulit ng bago o palit USB port ka lang?

I'm planning to have my Mazda3 front and rear brake pads replaced at 40,000km.

The OEM brake pads are quite expensive. It's around 13-15k for the front, and around 8-9k for the rear with electronic parking brake.

So I'm thinking on going for the after market brands like Brembo. I found the following pads that are recommended for my Mazda 3 BN model:

    Prime Ceramic P49050N
    Brake pad Brembo P495N

    Prime Ceramic P49063N
    Brake pad Brembo P4963N

A Lazada reseller sells the front for 1,750 and for the rear 2,135. It's way cheaper than the OEMs.

I also heard some other brands like LKC and Akebono but unsure where to buy these.

Anyone here have used Brembo or other brands as alternative to the OEM brake pads? I'd like to ask for your recommendations. TIA!

I assume the OE price is from CASA? Looks like super taga.

The front pads are $61 on Amazon with free shipping: Amazon.com
Couldn't find the rears on Amazon but they're $73+ on Brembostore.com: PRIME Ceramic Rear Disc Brake Pad Set P4963N | Brembostore

Yes, the OE price is from Mazda Makati's quotation. Mazda C5 branch is more expensive by 1k+

Skyactiv bros, I replaced my Mazda 3 2015 hatch's rear gas springs/lift support/dampeners (OEM part BHN9-63620A) with a "compatible" one I found in Shopee . The OEM ones are about 630 mm and the replacements are 613 mm. After installing, the hatch is locked in open position, the springs are stiff AF with no play. Trying to close the hatch, the mounting point on the car body begins to flex. If I install only one, it works fine but that's not the point. Seller claims it's just stiff because it's new but forcing it might damage the mounting and the car body. Is Casa the only route now? Is hobo-ism a dying hobby nowadays? Someone hook me up please!
