I find it abusive when dealers charge a DI for cash buyers. Usually this only applies to bank POs where it is some sort of thank you money from the bank for letting them have more clients and processing the necessary papers.

I havent encountered a mazda dealer charging DI for cash purchase. At least at the 3 different dealers I called.

You are correct. DI is a thank you money from the bank when they p.o. a unit for their client and it is not supposed to be paid by such client. May kita na nga sila sa interest ng loan mo, pati ba naman DI para sa dealer eh sayo kukunin?

Dealers will mention the DI once your deposit in is their hands.

Too bad the 2.5 mt probably won't come out here. Kahit man lang sana 2.0 mt tapos a little higher lang price sa 1.5V ok na ko. We'll see, next year pa naman ako balak kumuha.

I noticed that the new Mazda distributor, Berjaya Auto listens to initial feedback of the market when they introduce a model or even before they launch it. Look at the pricing of Mazda3 V skyactiv. I was surprised but happy since the outgoing Mz3 V was priced higher at 999k.

Berjaya just might consider the MT Mz3 if it can prove to Mazda Japan that it is feasible here. Malay natin madami pala sa inyo gusto ng MT. If assuming, mazda sells 200 units per month, how many would opt for an MT variant?

Actually I prefer AT for the V variant but if they release a MT 2.0 I'd buy that. For sure it would be really fun to drive.

They dropped the CX5 MT because of low sales. My dad has one of the few units sold and I must say that's one sweet MT. The clutch is very light and forgiving. The gear shift action is short and precise. Couple that gearbox with the lighter 3 body (and the bigger 2.5) and have bucket loads of fun. I still prefer the AT for Manila traffic though

There is a limited edition Mazda 3 variant. 1.298m hatchback only. Same 2.0 but has skirts, black rims, front driver and passenger power seats, 9 speaker bose audio system, beige leather seats.

    Regarding Mazda 3 MT..

may nabanggit sakin yung agent ko last month when i had maintenance na may dadalin ang Berjaya next year na Base model ng 3 which is supposedly 1.5L MT SkyActiv, and of course will be priced lower than 945k

not sure though how reliable yung info

Specially with cash purchases, they already get DIs thru bank loan and in-house loan.

Is it ok to drive when the blue engine coolant light indicator (low temperature) is on? I notice that it takes a minute or two after startup before the indicator disappears. Should we wait for it to disappear before driving?
