2014 Mazda 3

Planning on purchasing a Mazda 3 2.0 HB this month as part of my car plan benefit, unfortunately, I was told by both Mazda Greenhills and Mazda Pasig that currently, no available stocks in the whole country, in fact, I was told by my SA that Berjaya has not delivered any 2.0 HB unit since February, puro Mazda Speed versions lang dumadating. What's worse, when I asked when the expected delivery of the next batch is, I was told that they cannot say, as Berjaya doesn't really tell them in advance which units are arriving.

Hassle talaga, might be forced to just get the 2.0 Sedan version because of the uncertainty of the delivery status of the HB.

Has anyone also heard of this?

This was my dilemma 5 months. Ang talagang target ko is 2.0 HB Soul Red color. Halos lahat ng casa naikutan ko na pero wala talaga. Ang meron lang is Mazda Q. Ave that time pero ang inooffer na color is Aluminum Metallic tsaka White Pearl and Soul Red sedan. Eh lakas mangumbinsi ng gf ko, "Bose is Bose" daw. Ayun, ended getting the 2.0 HB Speed nung February at puro Speed lang ang naglabasan.

So as of today, yan pa rin pala ang problema. Puro Speed lang ang lumalabas na HB. Try mo tawagan ang Mazda Q. Ave or Alabang and ask for the availability. I hope na makakuha ka soon. Good luck sir!

probably it's their marketing strategy the 2.0R HB has no avail stocks. They want to get more profit for selling Mz speed variant instead. the question is how come no avail stocks Mz2.0R where this variant is a entry level? pinatikim lang ang bata ng candy tapos nung nasarapan na ayaw nang bigyan...BTW how is the difference for the above mentioned variants???

I think 2 yun nakita mo. So far kasi, 2 variants lang ang 3, 1.5V at 2.0R/Speed. Sa 1.5V eh naka-mags naman yun. Ang bagong 2 na entry level ay naka-hubcaps

Most likely tama ang sinabi mo. Parang pinu-push nilang mabenta ang Speed kesa sa 2.0R, syempre dahil 100k more expensive yun Speed sa 2.0R

Pero mind you, mas dapat nilang i-push ang 2.0R lang na ibenta dahil ito ang mas hinahanap ng market. Kung may extra ka, then go for Speed variant. Pag wala, either mag-aantay ka ng pagdating ng 2.0R HB o kukuha ka ng 2.0R sedan.

Kung bakit ba naman kasi sobrang gwapo ng Mz3 HB eh

IMO I'll save up for the 60k diff and get the Skyactiv 1.5. They must still have lots of old engines and trannies in stock

If this is CBU Japan then it could be a way to clean out existing inventory with blessings from high up. They can't sell the 1.6 in China because their taxes favor the 1.5. I'm not so sure about other Asian countries but IIRC 1.5 is the maximum displacement to qualify for econo car status. Since we don't have any rules re displacement they throw the old tech our way and hope it sticks.

Pero konting ipon na lang eh. Kung MT siguro may chance pa pero 4AT malabo.

Anong color ba target mo sir? IIRC, Soul Red ang madalas wala sa dealers na HB. Madami sila Aluminum Metallic tsaka Pearl White. Try mo mag-inquire sa mga dealers kung anong color lang ang meron. Also, Speed variants ang madalas ilabas dito ngayon

Saan dealer marami Aluminum Silver na 2.0R sir ? Ito kasi order ko eh wala pa daw sabi ng SA ko. I am fine as well with the speed pero sa dami at laki ng mga humps dito sa village namin, kakayurin lang mga skirts. Ayaw naman nila alisin yung skirts at a discount.

Parang hilaw na 3rd gen Mz3 yan ah. Skyactiv body with non-Skyactiv engine/tranny? Malamang yun infotainment niyan eh yun nasa entry level na Mz2.

Anyways, lets see kung hanggang saan ang aabutin nitong bagong Mz3 variant.
