2014 Mazda 3

I think this has been discussed a few pages back. Pag bigla palit from brake to gas pedal, wala ako napapansin. Pag dahan-dahan ko iniangat ang brake pedal, either forward or reverse ang galaw ng sasakyan, dun ako may naririnig. Parang tunog ng pinto na pang horror lasting a second or two. I had them checked at Alabang branch, normal daw yun, it's the brake mechanism engaging daw. I have no point of comparison as this is my first car.

Tinesting ko ulit to kanina. Parang hindi na tumutunog ung sakin. Baka dahil masyado pang makapit ang preno dati? 2000+ kms na kasi ako eh.
Tingnan ko kapag nakaincline ang kotse kung tutunog ulit 'yung preno (kapag naalala ko, hehehe). Iniisip ko rin kasi baka hill-assist.

May question lang ako regarding the brake pedal.

Kapag umaandar yung makina at nirelease ko yung brake pedal ng biglaan (ililipat yung paa sa gas pedal), may niririnig akong ingay na parang may kumakatok. Pero pag dahan dahan naman nirelease yung brake pedal kapag naka full stop sa intersection, wala naman ingay.

Napansin nyo din ba ito?

I checked this while I was driving on my way home earlier. I didn't hear any "katok" sound when I release my foot sa brake pedal, be it biglaan or dahan-dahan lang. I stopped the audio for a while and there's really no sound coming from the brake pedal pag nagrerelease ako.

Well, maybe now wala pa ako naririnig but later baka magkaroon na rin. Right now I'm complaining about an issue that was posted here before regarding sa 'lagatok' sound in their dashboard. Dati wala ako naririnig na ganun but now very noticeable na siya when I am cruising at 30-40kph then madadaan ako sa small potholes or kahit uneven road lang. I think the sound is coming from the driver side's dashboard near the lower left windshield though I'm not sure as I can't pinpoint where exactly the actual sound is coming from. The sound is like yung tunog kapag a tiny stone hits the windshield while your car is moving. But when smooth naman yung road, wala ako naririnig. Sometimes I just play my mp3s na lang para di ko mapansin. But you're right, it's kinda annoying din.

On a positive light, I'm happy at last my parcel just arrived today! I bought my car key a leather cover at ebay about a month ago.

Sir Parak, this might help. Lower portion ba ng windshield? I think may TSB sa states or Canada na ganyan. Been reading long term reviews and it helps nga ata to wait a bit

Nevertheless, I'll just have it check sa casa when I bring the car for its PMS or pag available na lang yung plate ko. Yes it's annoying but it doesn't bother me much kasi once I put up the audio, I wouldn't even notice na meron palang tumutunog and it only happens lang naman if the pavement is uneven. The bothering sound doesn't even match the satisfaction I get while driving the Mz3. It's still fun to drive and very happy with my every day driving.

*NewbDriver: Sir I believe it's from ebay china as the parcel came from there. I can't find any item similar to this locally. I love kasi the leather with the red stitching, it matches the car seats.

Hahaha i have to agree with you that it's so fun to drive! Just finished my 3rd test drive of the Mazda 3 this morning and Im almost convinced baka mag reserve na ko next week nabenta na din kasi car ko kaya I have to decide soon. Kaso yung test unit dinig ko yung sa passenger side ticking. Sana yung mapunta sakin wala. Hahaha!

May isang owner abroad di na nakatiis ginalaw na yung oto niya shux.

I would go for the white sedan. But if you're getting the 2.0R, then I'm suggesting to pick the soul red instead.

I was able to view the new Mazda 3 for the first time yesterday in Mazda Greenhills. I saw the white (sedan and hatchback), silver (sedan), and soul red (sedan and hatchback) units. The white hatchback is definitely a looker.

Hi guys, as I've posted in the Honda City thread, I'm currently contemplating between the 2014 Mazda 3 1.5 (P948,000.00) and the 2014 Honda City VX (P880,000.00).

I haven't test driven any of the two. I've viewed them palang. For those who've test-driven both, kamusta naman driving experience?
