Some of Berjaya's people were carried over from the Ford days. Old habits die hard.

Actually, I already posted a comment before on the TGP site and Mazda Philippines replied to my complaint. Their SAs just didn't know what they were doing or the policies were just screwed up with regards to DI. So technically, I think Mazda Phils already knows my complaint in particular =).

But yes, the policy I encountered appeared to be an inheritance of the old Ford days but made more confusing na parang "labo labo" per dealer. Walang general rule between them established by Berjaya which made it more frustrating to deal with.

Pero from this recent article, I think it only applies to cash buyers... Sa installment, may DI pa din. From what I read, that is how I interpret it. =)

Really looking forward to seeing the 3 in the streets (I think I saw too much already sa reviews). I saw one white 1.5 hatch yesterday and a white 1.5 sedan earlier today. The white looks kinda dull, unlike Toyota's ~15k pearl white 😜

About the tire pressure, magkaiba pala ang requirements sa 1.5 and 2.0 since magkaiba din ng size.

Bought my car last March 2014 and only got the OR/CR yesterday, wala pa plates.

Just finished my 1K PMS earlier today. Bilis lang, wala pang 2 hours with car wash pa. Question sa mga nakapagpa PMS na, do you give tips din ba sa Service Advisor niyo?

Anyway, would just like to share na rin these photos. My bro took a shot of a deep crystal blue mica Mz3 na nakadisplay kanina sa showroom. Ganda rin when you see it sa malapitan. Though for me nawala yung pagka sportiness niya but instead parang naging pang-executive yung dating...

*sir bongzzz, I received my OR/CR kanina lang din but still no plates. My Mz3 will be 1 month old on the 30th so baka nanjan na rin yung OR/CR niyo po. Better check with your dealer.

thanks for the info, larry and p*r*k. I called mazda alabang and been told I could expect around 2nd week of July pa. Yung license plate, 3-4 months waiting daw.

*larry, Meron na pala bagong Mz3 since March? I thought 3rd week of April unang batch ng mga nakakuha. I reserved first week of March pa.

*p*r*k, that deep blue crystal was my first choice, but then I was told na June/July pa daw ang dating and I couldn't wait so I settled for the black. Beautiful shade of blue, but no regrets with black. I give a tip to the actual mechanic who serviced my car, but next time siguro I'll give some to the service advisor as well. Basta satisfied ka naman sa service sa car mo, I think they're worth it.

As for the maintenance, I'm having the car washed every other week. Madalas umulan lately, at pangit tingnan yung alikabok na namumuo pag nauulanan. Wax, once a month.

Thanks sir bongzzz. On my next PMS, will give tip na rin sa SA. I thought the car wash was standard in every PMS.

Yes, saw a black one also displayed in an SM mall, very bold and beautiful. I think whichever color you choose, you'll never go wrong with the Mz3.

Had availed the paint protection from big bert's para in case I didn't have time to do waxing, i'm assured na may protection pa rin siya. Wash, i do once a week.

i just got my black mazda 3 last saturday. i love the handling though i noticed na bouncy siya sa lubak.. im not sure if its normal.. it could also be because of the tire pressure.. matigas masyado..

i do have a question though.. is it true na ang price ng spark plug sa mazda is worth 4k and the battery is 18k? sobrng mahal yata.. considering its consumable thus we have to pay for it during maintenance..

Is it a 2.0? I'm not aware of the exact price, but I think the special battery is only applicable for the 2 liter variant. No idea on the spark plug. As for the bounce, I have no point in comparison but it probably is a disadvantage of our car as per reviews in terms of NVH.

With regards to the i-stop function, how often is it advisable to engage this during traffic? What I mean is if you'll stop only for less than 5 seconds, in every 10-50 meters could it somehow damage (wear and tear) the engine/components? I wonder if the istop will only be that beneficial if it's being used for ~30 seconds or more of being stopped.

The car's ignition system is designed to be turned on and off much more times than the usual car (hence the special battery). It won't break just because istop engages in traffic several times.

All Mazda 3's have projector lights, even nung first gen pa. Difference with the 1.5 and 2.0 is that the 1.5 has halogen lights, while the 2.0 has bi-xenon with auto-leveling. Doesn't matter which variant.

Spark plugs are PMS items, so should free under Yojin3. Ask the Service Advisor for a PMS sked so you'll see when the spark plugs will be replaced.

As for the battery, yes, this only applies to i-stop equipped models. I remember someone from the CX-5 thread said that as long as you're 6% more fuel efficient than non i-stop equipped cars, you can recoup the price of your battery within its 2-year lifespan.

Also, just a question, is the battery price that big of a deal considering that the 2.0 Mazda 3 is cheaper than rivals, and already comes with Yojin3?

Hi everyone, we got our deep crystal blue 2.0 M3 last Friday from Mazda Pasig. So far everything is fine except for the steering wheel that is a bit off-center. I might have it and the wheel alignment checked this Saturday.

I'm not fond of the temporary plate with the conduction sticker number that they placed. The conduction sticker number printout has already been damaged after a single car wash.

Now I'm thinking of getting the conduction plates made of metal. Has anyone already had these conduction plates made? Could you recommend a shop or store? I found a few in Sulit but I don't know if the prices are already reasonable.

    Thanks.

For the 2.0, can we install a rear parking camera and have it projected from the entertainment unit? I noticed that the car specified park sensors not cameras.

Yan din question ko...sana pwede mag pa-install ng back up camera. The 1.5L only has back up sensors. Yung 2.0L lang daw yung may back up camera by default.
