^not referring to the Mz3 in particular, but to all cars in general. thats why I said "as high as 20% losses" at the wheels. Luckilyless than 20%, but 99whp is still more than 10hp off the brochure quoted figure.

I actually expected worse, Yatta sir. The dyno results were a pleasant surprise. Among the 1.5-1.6 naturally aspirated engines I've tried, our M3 surely ain't no weakling.
Actually happy to have gone hobo than going 2.0. No regrets.

Oh, the brochure had our 1.5Sky beyond 110hp, Yatta sir?
All the while I honestly thought twas just a mere hundred. Oh well, immaterial as it's my daily & will never see track.

Here's some official literature on the 1.5:
    The SKYACTIV-G 1.5 is a 1,496 cc (91.3 cu in) engine with a 74.5 mm (2.93 in) bore and a 85.8 mm (3.38 in) stroke.
It's a 4 cylinder engine introduced in the 14MY Mazda3 for the Asian and European markets but that was also understandably dismissed for US consumption, its develops 99 hp (74 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 111 lb·ft (150 N·m) of torque at 4,000 rpm (Asia Markets). This new gasoline engine added to the SKYACTIV line-up achieves a high compression ratio of 13.0:1 (14.0:1 in some markets). It greatly improves dynamic performance and fuel economy over the MZR 1.5 engine of the previous model. Maximum power for the European model hatchback with automatic transmission is 115 hp (86 kW).

    Correction:
I realized I mixed up Sid's dyno figures on the 1.5 Sky. It actually yielded 95whp. 4less than the literature proclaimed 99hp. Apologies.....
    Here is a clip.of Sid's 1.5sky baseline run:

i think the US versions are slightly detuned. The PhDM Skyactivs are similar to the EuDM and JDMs w/c have slightly higher outputs. According to Mazda Phil, the Mz3 1.5 has 112hp (Mz2 1.5 has a little lower hp btw).

We've got the 13:1 compression engines on regular unleaded while Europe, Japan & some Thai variants have the 14:1 that are tuned for premium fuel. Mazda Ph might be giving the Euro-spec, crank or bloated figures.
95whp for an econobox is actually pretty good.

    It's vinyl wrap. see 3M 1080 series.
Does it look good ng m3 hatchback? -> depends on personal preference

3M 1080 gloss black roof wrap will be hot....figuratively & literally.
Carefully remove aerial & gutter rails for that OCD clean finish. Breathe down the neck of the guy dislodging the headliner. It creases easily.

Sample of headliner crease you'd wanna avoid upon aerial removal:

Hatch aerials are held by a nut under the roof:

    Roof Rail Removal Guide:

Wrapping is therapeutic, a great anger/patience management & a fun DIY. Here are a few tips after aerial & rail removal:
    -Pray
-Reflect & load up on patience & courage.
-Prep material good for 2 roofs if you're a wrap virgin. Gloss will look classy & glassy like panoramic glass roof while matte will look as hobo as this mod is. Dry carbon will look even cheaper....
-Clean all surfaces of grease, dust, dirt. Claybar is preferred.
-Q-tip the gaps between roof & windshield w/ isopropyl alcohol (w/o moisturizer).
    -Do this under a roof.
    -Take your time.
-Wet app is more forgiving but for a roof as flat as ours, dry might work.
-You may lift, stretch, heat & reseat vinyl. It's tough.
-And, don't squeegee too hard to avoid scratches.
-Install in reverse the rails & aerial.
-Reward yourself w/ bottles of ice cold beer.

And oh, those lil bubbles will disappear w/ a few days of sun exposure.

Hello masters. I have items in my checklist to improve my blue 1.5 HB. Nothing crazy, I intend to keep it sleek.

    - Leather seats already ordered from Seatmate
    - 18" mags, still researching. Preferrably 5 slim spokes. Looking at Vosser.
    - addition of exhaust for symmetry
    - gloss black roof wrap followed by replacement of antenna with black sharksfin

I would like to ask for your help on where would be the best place to get the roof wrap bought and installed. And if pwede na isabay dun yung replacement ng antenna. Also this way i wont worry about getting the sharksfin customized to a blue reflex color kasi I understand readily available naman black fin. How much do the roof wrap and antenna cost, masters?

My 2cents on your good plans, sir:
-3M or Avery gloss black are the premium wraps. Matte & dry carbon won't look as good.
-Wraps are usually DIY for me, so our buddies on here might shed you better light on cost when professionally done.
-Get no less than an OE sharkfin in black. A blue 1 will stick out like a sore thumb on a black roof. Faux covers or generic replacements just won't cut it for sick minds.
-Vossens are good, but it might be a challenge to find em in et45 up.
-19s have proven to mesh better w/ our M3's euro inspired aesthetic proportions. Think Bimmers. Been thru both sizes & I'd probably won't go back to 18s.
-A drop will take your set up to the next level.
-Exhaust is easy, just weld in the extra tip....And do the GEO_S Mod. You'll learn more about this hopefully later in the week when Mast3r Geo_S will be ready to share. No custom nor pricey legit 1s needed.
Btw, just remove the cover on left side of rear bumper for that extra tip.

Again, all the above are just my humble 2cents which you may or may not subscribe to.
    Motor on!!!!

Is it only a cover and easily removable?

Wow, thanks for that! I thought you'd have to replace the bumper with the 2.0 version just for that hole. haha.
