For long drive where you dont know where youre going. Best to use waze with another offline map para me pang check. Waze was recalculating for several minutes but there was no signal sa area and i was passing through intersections. Buti na lang me backup ako gamit

Waze has cached mode -- assuming that your route has already been calculated from your starting point, dapat cached na yan hanggang destination. Even if you lose data signal, gagana pa yung navigation.

At some point, I lost data signal but waze still guided me. Pero siempre, may offline map na rin ako on standby just in case. (OSMAND)

I rely on HERE over Waze, especially when I don't have stable data connection

I used Here and dinala ako sa pilapil. Yes, the app has a complete map of the Philippines, but it doesn't even know which roads are real roads and which ones are narrow dirt roads in the middle of a rice field. To think, this was just in Pampanga. What more in secluded areas of the country.

Waze still has smarter suggestions, by far.

I used Waze when I was in Leyte in the middle of night looking for the port. It brought me to a middle of a bridge.

Lesson learnt: never rely on one app

Used it kanina to get to antonio's in tagaytay AND to escape the mega traffic in the sta rosa - tagaytay road. Worked like magic!!!!!! Saved at least an hour and a half. At the start, i was in c5 and it rerouted me thru bgc to edsa to slex and skyway to avoid the traffic jam at the end of the c5. And then took me thru carmona etc to avoid the traffic. Really good

Because of my VK70, tumagal maglock in ang GPS ko. Not so noticeable on an iPhone, but sa Samsung na inherently mas matagal maglock-in, nakakairita siya.

Maybe it's your device's GPS antenna that's not getting the proper signal.

Same with my recent experience. Sabi sa Waze Philippines FB page it's because of the poor network signal

Try to download "GPS STATUS" kung matagal mag-lock, reset gps and download data. Also, much much better kung may gps+glonass yung celfone, heck..i even bought new celfone just for this glonass thing haha. Pretty reliable for me sa Metro manila. I also use OSMAND navigation for provincial trips.
