Waze tracks you regularly and provides you with alternative routes so GPS is very useful in this sense...

Sobrang hina ko sa kalsada. Sa area lang namin ang kabisado ko pasikot sikot at sa mga madalas puntahan. Sa iba, may idea ako pero kailangan ko ng confirmation kung tama. so waze is a big help for me. Plus yung tinuturong pasikot sikot pag traffic

Lagi akong naka-waze pag rush hour. Mga 80% of the time, maganda naman yung tinuturong kakaibang daan ni Waze.

Mga Sir need help I'm going to nueva ecija kasi tomorrow night sa san jose po , eh i know naman na baha pa sa Cabanatuan and Sta Rosa Laguna , so I'm planning NLEX->SCTEX->TPLEX dumaan so icalled NLEX hotline ang binigay nilang way sakin is yung Victoria Exit to san jose dahil yun lang daw ang pnka accessible going to san jose dahil yung ibang exit lang PURA-GERONA ay hindi advisable , Nag try ako mag Waze ang binibigay parin sakin is yung sa PURA-GERONA , can anyone suggest a better and safe way? or can someone instruct me pano yung way sa victoria pa san jose city? , I would appreciate any feedback thank you!

I'm on SMART. Minsan saksakan ng bagal mag load ng traffic data. Dahil dito, medyo mali na yung initial route na binibigay ng waze. After a while, the traffic data will eventually load properly and Waze will recalculate. But by then, you're already stuck.

Kaya minsan, before I leave office, I log on to waze from my desktop (world.waze.com) and check the traffic situation from there.

I find Waze more reliable on my Globe than on my Smart. But you're right, Waze relies heavily on network performance as it strives to give real time traffic and other relevant and timely data.

Like you, I also try to get my traffic data before leaving the office (or house) from a faster data connection (wifi in my case)

Same here. I refresh Waze several times and i also allow that traffic conditions change after 15-30minutes at some parts i usually pass. I use Waze to give me an idea of general traffic and then i decide where i pass. There are times i disregarded Waze and lost (kung pwede lang siguro ako pagtawanan ng app). hehehe.

May times na ganyan rin ako. Pikit mata na susundan ko si waze. Gulat ako maluwag nga..

O kaya, ingat kayo sa mga puro jeep at truck ang dumadaan. Kasi di naman sila nagwawaze so walang report. Gaya sa ibang part ng divisoria like moriones

May mga users kasi ng waze na to gain points report nang report, mapahinto lang dahil may umaatras from a sidestreet resto's parking, standstill traffic na daw agad, kakainis.

Minsan kasi sir akala mo trapik talaga dahil matagal magmaniubra yung umaatras. Ilang beses na ring nangyari sakin na ganyan, napindot ko na yung traffic sa waze tapos yun pala may umatras lang eh wala gustong magbigay kaya natagalan.

Still laking issue nga din strength ng mobile data mo, kanina lang nag EDSA ako, heavy crawling traffic northbound. Sa waze clear, no color indicating the traffic.

Maplot sya paps, ang duration nga lang magdepende rin sa ibang factors like kung may ibang magreport, etc.

And yes, mobile data mo important talaga kasi kahit di ka magreport sinusukat ni waze speed rin, that's why minsan magprompt sya kung bigla kang bumagal.

I think sa points lang yan. The more points kasi mas lumalaki editing area mo, that is if map editor ka din. I used to edit maps for waze too pero ngayon rarely nalang, marami na rin naman kasing contributors unlike before nung bago pa sya.
