Okay po bang dumaan sa Old Zigzag Road (Bitukang Manok) ng madaling araw? Mga 4:00 - 5:00 AM?

I'm from quezon prov. safe dyan sir. ingat lang pababa and always follow yung mga taong nag gguide na may flags.

Kung medyo alanganin ka, mag antay ka sasakyan then sabayan mo na lang para may sinusundan ka. Sya pa diskartehin mo, sunod ka lang

Wag ka daan sa "baba" or "sa bago" term namin sa alternate route. Mas mahaba doon and lahat ng trucks and bus nandun lahat. Hirap mag overtake dun, ang babagal ng truck tapos puro curves.

Will do sir! Nagpaalam na ko sa office na leave ako ng August 2 at early out ng August 1 para makapagpahinga at makondisyon ang sarili. Sila in-laws excited na rin kasi nung 90s pa yung last road trip nila to Ozamiz at jeepney pa yung dala nila nun. Pinapakuha pa nga ako ng ANCAR clearance para daw sigurado. Sabi ko di na sya hinahanap ngayon.

Nag pre-plan trip ako using waze, daming pula sa Andaya, almost one hour extra ang travel.

Mahaba pila sa road repair along Sipocot kaya sa Libmanan Barcelonita ako dumadaan. Kung Legazpi ka, wagkana dumaan ng Naga dahil mahaba din ang pila, sa Milaor ka na dumaan Gloria MAcapagal Avenue and NinoyCory Avenue, sa Pili town proper na ang labas mo.
If from QC area ka naman, better take the Manila East Road Antipolo-Mabitac-Luisiana- exit to Tayabas Lucena or Pagbilao route para iwas SLEX to San Pablo traffic.

Thanks sa info, matagal ng mabitac-lucban- pagbilao or Ibaan-San Juan-Lucena ang ruta ko pag pumupunta ako ng Legaspi. Matagal na akong hindi dumadaan sa San Pablo.

Just got word from an officemate who arrived yesterday morning, grabe traffic sa Sipocot. He's been trying to get to Manila from Sorsogon since Wednesday via car. He's turned back twice already and on the 3rd try simply took a plane.

I will take the Sipocot-Barcelonita-Libmanan route and the GMA highway from San Fernando to Nabua.
According to waze the best time to pass Maharlika Highway in Sipocot is around 2 AM.

According to waze the best time to pass Maharlika Highway in Sipocot is around 2 AM.

Very light traffic lang dyan kahit regular weekdays, ang iiwasan mo lang yung barangay area at mga binibilad na palay sa umaga. May road widened portion before Cabusao intersection pwede landingan eroplano 8lanes walang kawad o poste. Instead of passing Libmanan-Maharlika intersection, take the Bagacay Diversion rd. leading to Maharlika, may INC church sa kanto pero not noticeable if coming from Maharlika. MAy daan din dyan sa GMA ang labas mona Oas, Albay mejo bundok na dadaanan. Kakabyahe kolang din kagabi, grabe traffic sa Maynila kahit saan siguro dahil to and fro ang vehicular traffic mga taga prabins lumuluwasa ng Maynila. Cavite ligaya drive na ako dumaan traffic parin Sto Tomas to Lucena. Ang sund ko explore yung Lemery-Ibaan anlayo lang almost +100kms yata vs. Manila East rd.

If you are going to Naga City and beyond, AVOID Andaya or Quirino highway, take Sta Elena-Labo-Daet-Sipocot route. It may be an hour longer drive than Andaya but traffic in Andaya from Colacling- Lupi to Sipocot is a minimum of 2 hours, its worse than EDSA. The road is also very bad.

Kita mo dito ang dekadang epekto ng corruption. Mapapamura ka talaga. Before I can drive 150kph along Quirino, Camarines side, now you are lucky if you hit 80 kph

From Sipocot as recommended take the Barcelonita-Libmanan , then San Francisco to Tupi. Expect mild traffic along this route, there are detour signs directing light vehicles to take this route.

Bumyahe kami pa Legazpi nung 23rd. Dyan kami dumaan sa Andaya / Quirino hiway mga 1:30ish pm, sinwerte at very light traffic, likely kasi sa holiday siguro. Parang dumaan lang ako sa west service road from Nichols to Bicutan on a holiday, halos wala masyado sasakyan.
Pero sa nakita ko, i can imagine the gridlock na sinasabi ng iba dito. Daming ginagawa and marami rin take turns sa flow ng traffic, sabayan mo ng heavy trucks and buses at unli potholes. Masasayang talaga oras mo dito panigurado.
On the way back to manila, nakita ko dinidirect ang mga private vehicles (at other light vehicles ata) to remain on the main hiway (Daet route), yung pinapapasok sa quirino hiway mga trucks and buses lang.
Today babyahe kami pa Daet from Legazpi, I'm planning to try the GMA and barceloneta routes as suggested.

Ako naman traveled from Albay 3rd district to QC. Left at 5AM arrived at 3PM. Walang traffic sa mga road repairs. Took eco tourism road-san juan-rosario-ibaan

There is an ongoing road widening of FVR highway particularly Minalabac area, its a steep incline impassable to sedans, 4x2 can barely get thru if it rained. Avoid that route(Nabua or Oas exit) instead exit via Pili town proper to bypass Naga traffic.
