Landfall sa sabado yung bagyo, maulan yan, suggest move your trip to the next weekend.
In case matuloy kayo, at first time mo pa Legaspi, better to leave 8-9 PM in Pasig, expect weekend traffic.
Nasa Legaspi kana around 8-9 AM, may mga ginagawa pang tulay from Naga to Legaspi so expect moderate traffic.
Suggested cr break for the night trip, Shell at SLEX, Total Station at Lucena Diversion, seaside restaurants at Atimonan,
Petron or Caltex at Sipocot, Shell at Naga diversion.
If first time trip, gamit ka ng GPS, place to watch out; Lopez to Tagkawayan , daming blind curves, although widened yung road, pero may mga truck na nagpapa park. Andaya highway, daming truck, and potholes, Sipocot to Naga Road, widened road, pero poorly lighted, daming naaksidente dyan kasi may tumatakbo ng +120kph dyan.
Kain kayo Zeny's alimango and sugpo. Mura and paluto sya.
Going to Bicol, paglagpas ng Lopez Quezon before mag Calauag Quezon. Left side.

Sarap!
Very detailed tip. Thanks po! Di pa naman po this weekend kami aalis pero most likely weekend talaga ang magiging alis namin.
its pretty dark. clean headlights help alot. go slow if you're loaded,
you save an hour via bituka
there is construction on going last time but only small vehicles are allowed there.
some folks assist at night there because of one lane areas. they use led flashlights. prepare to stop when encouraged to do so. blind curves kase.
10 minutes oneway
there is a toilet there...

Eme is only 4 km shorter than the Diversion Road. It's only 7 km in total, compared to 11 km if you go around Quezon National Park. [emoji23]
On average around 5-10 min difference lang.

question should be. tapos na ba construction duon? lol
it should be fine. its rather dark so clean the ws in and out as well as the headlights. there are folks there that sorta guide you(over a year ago). you can hand them some coins. theres a semi steep area.. brakes must be good.
Where is the real bitukang manok?
Is it the one on quezon national park or the one in daet?

We are thinking if we will pass through the area or take the diversion road instead. Pag inabot siguro kami ng liwanag doon, we will take that route, otherwise, diversion road na lang. I am looking at youtube videos of those who recently went that way. My mother-in-law doesn't want us to take that road because before di raw sila pinapadaa. (it was way back in 90s).
The one in Quezon sir.
Ok daanan ang bitukang manok, even at night. Just pay attention to the flag waiving traffic guides, prepare also some coins for them. Marami paring dumadaan even past midnight. Just watch for the road/slope repair. Isasara kang nila yan during heavy rains at may danger ng slides.
I find the diversion road more dangerous, almost everyday may aksidente, marami kasing truck.
Andaya highway mayron paring portion na under repair but not that extensive.
