The Kumho has better grip and a quieter ride than the Yokohama, though the Yokohama definitely lasts longer (I'm at 35,000 km and tread is still thick, while my Kumho only lasted 32,000 km).

The Achilles 2233 is a decent budget option but if you can afford the better tires (Kumho or Yokohama), go for it.

    thanks for the correction bro
btw how much better was the brandnew achilles vs the brandnew yokos?
kasi IIRC you were OK with the 2233's up until near end of life?

Between 30k to 50k kilometers depending on the type of tires you have. Sport tires (Potenza, Pilot Sport, etc) tend to degrade faster while touring tires last a bit longer. You can do a visual check on the tires if the grooves are still deep enough.

Also, tires need to be replaced if they are more than 5 years old from their date of manufacture.

Assuming you drive such distances at this rate, you will reach 48k kilometers with those tires in 10 months time. I guess you need new tires by then.

No point to be skimp on tires when they are the most important part of your car. I just replaced the stock tires of my FXT after having traveled 39k kilometers (in 3 years) on it.

Check out the Indonesian brands - GT Champiro, Achilles, Accelera, or Neuton. They are affordable and still perform well.
