Turanza is cheaper than Potenza, and the GR90 doesn't come in my size.

It was for the 225/45/17 size. 18s are usually costlier than 17s.

Looking for new tires for my fronts (225/45 r17) coz i'm going to la union next weekend and would like to test my 2nd hand car for the first time in the highway (200kph maybe?), and my falken 453 (japan made) fronts are already 5 years old (rears are federal ss595 bought 3months ago).

Really confused which one to get... these are what i've canvassed so far.

    Toyo drb (malaysia) - 5100
Goodyear eagle f1 directional 5 (indonesia malaysia thailand)- 8500
    Goodyear assymetric 2 - 10500
Falken ze 914 (indonesia malysia thailand)- 4900
    Falken fk453 (malaysia)- 7400
    Yokohama advan fleva (philippines)- 5300
    Federal ss595 - 4200

By the way, Where are the kumho tires in qc area?

Why not just buy the Federal SS595? This way, all your tires are the same. I am assuming you will only be replacing those Falkens.

That crossed my mind, but naiingayan ako sa federal 595s (rears were previously falkens too). I just bought the federals before kasi wala akong budget. Napansin ko din sa federal, wala syang parallel grooves. Lahat pa-V, kaya siguro maingay.

The SS595 are sport tires (UHP classification) and thus a bit noisier than usual. They are meant for grip and some spirited driving. They are not touring or eco-saving tires. I have used the 595EVO (225/45/17/ on my old Accord before and I am OK with it.

If you can have all tires the same, it will be much better as you expect the same level of grip across all tires.

Advan Fleva V701 for me. It's Yokohama's cheaper counter to the impressive but expensive Bridgestone Potenza RE003.

For Kumho, I got my set of Ecsta LE Sport KU39 from GTD Tires in Banawe. 5.5k each for 225/40R18.

Kakalaunch lang ng Fleva V701 may blowouts na? Or are you referring to the old Fleva?
