Smart key systems need a smart driver... Whenever our company driver gets to use my car, he always forgets to engage the foot brake before shutting the engine off. What happens is the smart key won't turn the car on next time you go on a drive. Happened to me twice. The car would just go into accessories mode. The solution I found was to put in accessories mode, engage the foot brake, and then try to start the car again. I got nervous when this happened the fist time, thought there was something wrong with my car. Yun pala, something was wrong with the company diver who used it before me.

mas mahal lang ang sorrento crdi than sta.fe crdi, around 100T difference din... pero sorrento may keyless entry and ignition system diba, pero manual aircon lang diba? anu pa pinagkaiba?

sa FC pareho lang diba?

EX 4x2 lang nakita ko sa showroom ng kia quirino nung nag 1st 5000pms ako sa carens.. mas masculine ang lines ng sorrento, pero almost identical ang interior... may cruise control pero alang audio control..

may nakakita na ba nung sorrento 4x4 de luxe (2.025M ang cost)

Hindi yan ang ginawa ko sa sportage ko, i never step on the foot brake pag mag off ng engine. Pero ang daily routine ko sa pag starting is, get in the car, without depressing the foot brake press once the start button to enter accessories mode, then wait 1 to 2 seconds press again to enter the on mode, then another 1 to 2 second before i step on the brake and press the start button again to start the engine. I always do this especially cold start. Just like manual key, you don't insert your key and turn all the way to start a cold engine, you stop a few split of seconds at acc and on before starting the engine. That's what i get used to, if you are familiar with electronics, the initial starting current of any electronics is highest at its starting point, so kaysa istart agad ang lahat, why not accessories first, then the others, then the engine. Just my few cents

i have a bit of a problem with my sorento. when ever i run through a pot hole with a bit of speed when i try pressing on the brakes running through the pot hole parang iba yung tunog nung pag daan sa lubak and the break seems to slightly slide off, parang it disengages (brakes) then engages again after a quick split seconds. is it just the ABS? or there's something wrong with my car? thanks!

Full automatic na A/C ng EX ung LX ang manual aircon. For the Deluxe, aside from the smart key, led type ang bulb steering wheel mounted audio control and panoramic sunroof.

Baka ABS pero have your car check sa dealer.

My AVT Head Unit Volume knob died on me already... Can this still be fixed? I adjust my volume using the remote control, but if this can't be fixed, I'm thinking of replacing the head unit already with a Pioneer HU, and just get a separate GPS unit.

warranty pa ba ang AVT Unit niyo sir? if hindi na i suggest mag PIONEER HU ka na lang.

Baka naman contact cleaner lang ang kailangan.

Anu yung contact cleaner? When I turn the volume knob, parang lumuwag na siya, hindi na kumakapit...

Out of warranty na yung AVT ko, over 1 year na kasi eh...

I like the Pioneer HU pero walang GPS, though Benji of Maspro suggested to just buy a separate GPS unit (Garmin) which pwede pa raw ilipat lipat ng kotse... Ipon muna pera...
