Nakapag test drive na ako ng parehas(Spark at Picanto)... parehong M/T... for me, mas malakas humatak at mas responsive ang Picanto... Yun exterior/body nya ay halos same level lang... Yung interior ay mas gusto ko ang dashboard at instrument ng Spark...So nalito din ako kung ano ang pipiliin ko... Pero I want an A/T, yun Spark kasi ay hindi top of the line yun A/T... pero ang Picanto ay top of the line na... so I reviewed the engine, and found out that the new KAPPA engine ng Picanto ay maganda ang performance kaysa sa previous model.... So baka anytime this week or next week, Ill decide to buy the Picanto siguro.

Saan ka nakapagtest drive ng New Picanto? saang dealer? makapag-testdrive din habang undecided pa kami, :D

I think you'll like the response of the manual 1.0 of Picanto, maganda ang responsiveness ng engine eh... and madali sya i-drive... Di ko lang talaga sure ang FC kasi nga wala pa masyado nagrereview na actual user eh... Pero I like the interior of the Spark. Kung manual ang hanap ko, baka mag 1.2 M/T ako na Spark.... Pero matic kasi need ko eh kaya baka Picanto ako...

Boss, meron. One of this is the engine. This engine transmits a lot of vibration through the car when its idling. My sound na "whooo" pag nag rev. I think the culprit behind the vibration is the engine support. About sa sound , kia should adjust/change some parts,timing to minimize engine noise. Perhaps theres no perfect car naman. But overall ok performance especially FC which nowadays concerned for everybody. Peace=)

Hi sir.. The New Kia Picanto only has 3 cylinders.. Hindi po sira ang engine support niyan.. Vibration is normal sa mga 3 cylinder engines.. Sabi nga ng mga mekaniko na parang diesel daw ang 3 cylinder.. Pero ang good thing sa 3 cylinder engine, iba ang design ng crankshafts niya kaya kahit na sinasagad mo sa redline ang tachometer, di ka magkakaproblema sa engine.. Sa 4 cylinder, kadalasan, kung lagi kang nag reredline, after ilang years nagkakaproblema ka na sa makina.. Yun ang advantage ng 3 cylinder..

Ang if you'll ask me, mas pipiliin ko ang Kia Picanto kesa sa Chevrolet Spark.. Hindi na kasi original na Chevrolet yun ehh.. Daewoo na yun.. Binili ng Daewoo ang Chevy nung time na nagsara yung GM.. Para mas bumenta yung cars nila, rinebadge nila as Chevy..

BTW, I'm a member of Team Celerio Philippines, Na share ko lang po kasi 3 Cylinder din ang Celerio..

Meron ba kayung alam na used na Kia Picanto na worth P250,000.00 na binebenta? Yung automatic transmission (AT) at color silver/gray. Eto lang kasi talaga ang budget namin ni Mrs. ko.

Wala kaming pambili ng brandnew. At meron kaming babayarin na housing loan pa. Kaya di namin na kayang mag-car loan pa. Para sana brandnew na kagad ang bilhin namin.

Napili namin ang Kia Picanto kasi, mukhang ok naman ang review nito dito. At higit sa lahat mukhang mas-economical sa gas. Kasi pag-ci-city driving namin lagi ito. Pero hopefully makakayanan din ang long trips like sa Subic, Agno/Alaminos, Pangasinan, Baguio, Cagayan Valley. Mga pangarap na lugar kong ito'y puntahan using our magiging parang first car na rin.

Hindi naman po sir siguro gagawa ang isang company na mali ang design ng engine support.. Napaka importante po ng part na yan.. Akala din po namin sa celerio eh sira din ang engine support pero ang cause nga eh too much vibration ng engine kasi 3 cylinders.. Yung pinsan ko po na babae eh meron na nung bagong kia picanto thats why I can compare it.. Ang ginawa lang namin para ma bawasan ang vibration eh pagkatapos ng 1k eh pinalitan namin ng 5w30 viscousity of oil at linagyan po namin ng Grounding Kit.. My cousin is already 28 years old and she doesnt go to forums like this.. The consumption when he changed her oil was 12-13 mixed city and highway driving.. A/T unit.. Peace din po..

Just one of several reasons why the spark is the better choice than the picanto. Looks interior/exterior, performance(1.2mt) and durability. No Brainer really.

Calling all racing enthusiasts out there, members who wishes to experience the racing field and explore their potential for this sport.
